“The Final Cut”, Clarification involving Invalid “I Can’t” (negativity thinking I had), & “Not 100% Sures” as written at time vs. What Know Now (Updated 04/4/24))…

When I formulated “The Final Cut”, the 4th Edition updates for the Book, I thought I impacted all areas of the Book which I wanted to or needed update… However, I did not realize at the time I had an embedded Invalid “I Can’t” on my part as written in section 1.1 , or an Invalid “I am not 100% sure” attitude written in section 1.1, item 1), but somewhat amended in section 1.9 of the Book… After “The Final Cut” publication (5/15/19), when I evaluated matters within the Book, including the Huge/Positive Impacts seen with Book in Hand for People I have come across over time, that made it CLEAR, the Book’s Total TRUE Self-Help Process, is MORE Effective a Process than the Positivity Tools/Skills CBT Program Process I LEARNED from! This Book, in Whole, encompasses 100% of Our Needs for Mental Health vs. really only about 40% of the Gameplan in Life of what it Takes per the Positivity Process  Process as a stand-alone approach!  WE NEED MORE, SHORING UP OUR FOUNDATION & OUR CONNECTION WITH GOD WHICH INVOLVES THE BASIS OF OUR POSITIVITY WHEN GET THAT RIGHT!!!  We Can’t build up our Positivity Over time on Shaky Ground or else we Crumble!!!  This is aside of the fact the Book does includes Add’l Positivity Process related elements & additional Material which can only Help!

Specifically, & hence in section 1.1 , Item 2) towards the Tail end of the 1st paragraph, as written:

“…..Guess what path I had to follow, when I was truly at Rock Bottom in my Life? Written material alone was not good enough since I was so desperate, anxious, and perplexed, and I was not really in a state of mind to be able to read or comprehend things in my A & D saturated mind.  Of course, I did not have this Book in hand.  But even if I did, as bad as I was feeling, I would likely have fallen into this category 2), and ordered Lucinda’s (Midwest Center’s) program which is consistent with the fact the “Attacking Anxiety and Depression Program” was geared to and was advertised for those most afflicted.”

But as written in section 1.1 Item 1):

  1. “Contact me at RonnyLG123@gmail.com, and I will try to respond promptly, to initially work with you and help guide you (with no expected fees in return –Seriously!). Depending on your situation, upfront coaching is sometimes necessary before you can start working this on your own.   If you are reluctant about contacting me, which should never be the case, it is suggested to start listening to the Relaxation Media (i.e. the 2 links provided in section 5.3.1, or purchase from iTunes or Amazon (MP3 download) if desired), and read the corresponding section 5.3.1 text Only; this would be the only time and only jump ahead section that I would ever recommend up front (Period) unless maybe if I communicated matters with you directly.  This Relaxation media will help calm the mind and body to an extent that may help you begin the process to read and comprehend this material.  And if this works  and you are feeling better and calmer, and feel okay to continue, then please read the whole Book from start to finish starting from the beginning; continue to use the Relaxation media.”

Yeah, I Know Now, what written in 1.1,  item 2), is clearly an Invalid “I Can’t” when I wrote the Original publication which, interestingly, I was not sure of at that time… Since then what I have witnessed, per the Huge Positive Impacts on People I came across, who were just as Bad off as I was (e.g. 9/1/15 & 3/3/20 Reviewers), & who were Willing to Read & Work on themselves, as evaluated & posted per link above,  clearly indicated How Powerful this Book has become & Is!!! 

Yeah, & also, I do provide Free Cheerleading for anyone who gets the Book (paperback or e-Book one way or another).  The Cheerleading is optional, but it can be helpful in providing early Tidbits to those Interested & some Early Motivation, similar to what Lucinda provides in the Self-Help Program of hers I LEARNED from… So, when we are Very Anxious to begin with, as I was early in life, what we may need up front to begin the Process, other than some of that early Motivation which is likely helpful, although the Book as written is Motivating to begin with, Most Importantly we  start off with the Relaxation Media early/up front from the get go which is exactly what I address in section 1.1, Item 1)… Yes, this is imperative in our early Conditioning needs to begin to calm down the mind & body, to be able to tune into our inner thoughts Better in process & to allow us to begin to Read & Comprehend material in Process … Now, that is exactly what I had as well & nothing more really other than Lucinda’s Motivation (which as stated is provided in the Book as written, or individually if you desire ), to begin the Read/Working of the Program’s Workbook I Learned from… So Ditto Really in the Conditioning needs with no differences!  So the Book Is Complete & meant for All Regardless of How Bad off we feel we are!

& as you were to Read in section 1.9, this essentially corrects my way of thinking on these matters other than the “(?)” written in (below) which is invalid as well:

“An Individual’s reading comprehension ability, associated with their struggles with Anxiety and Depression, may be a deciding factor in determining the effectiveness of working this Book vs Lucinda’s (Midwest Center’s) program, although the program has a workbook which needs to be read and worked similarly (?).  Section 1.1, item 1), includes an approach which I believe would support improved reading comprehension  for sufferers, up front, to allow them to initiate the Process via this Book (i.e. to start off with  the Relaxation media,  as instructed in 1.1, from the get go). ” 

So Yeah from what I Know now is this section, per this paragraph & a couple more to follow could be written with Much More Assurance although, Obviously I was on the Right Track as written! 

One more thing of Importance which I Stress in the Book as written are those human mistakes to avoid as I bring up time & time again “like a broken record”, realizing the Biggest flaw going thru the Process is matters of Impatience which Significantly Impacted me as I raced thru the Process, “in like world record time”, & missed a few Key Points in Process which did set me back every now then for Seriously like 10 yrs!  Consequently had a slew of unnecessary ups & downs along the way which could have been avoided if tuned into the Instructions which are Clearly written within the Book! & I make it Very Clear, Don’t make the same mistakes I made!!!… & Stick to this Process & take it in “hook, line & sinker”… Cause, there is Absolutely Not a Better Approach for our Mental Health!!!

Anyway, it is important to Understand, the Book’s  Process is Everything we Need for our Mental Health & is an Optimum TRUE Self-Helper, meant for anyone really, whether be if Struggle or Suffer Significantly, or are just Average Emotionally bothered by negative thinking ways at times as we all do, Living in a rather negative world & society, surrounded by negativity at times!  But Yeah, in Total the Book’s Process is the Answer/ the Solution for our Mental Health Needs for Matters within our Control, & for Matters outside our Control,  i.e. the Book’s section 4, Our Faith, Our Foundation, & Our Connection with God (& Jesus if Christian as I am).

CBT Approach, Book vs. MH Community Approach/Way know of; e.g. ERP… (Updated 4/29/22)

As I wrote in a Blog Post I’ve addressed many of time in tweets, per link (riseandshineanxietydepression.net/2019/09/05/) entitled “Numbing” I address my Experiences with the MH community & my objective view of all that.  Here is one paragraph from that, regarding CBT & the subject matter of this Blog post, which also resides in the Final Cut of the Main Book I wrote (4th Edition Published 5/15/2019): 

“The Professionals do provide Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) services, which I think might be somewhat similar to the Detailed Cognitive/Behavior Modification Positivity Process included in this Book (?). Well actually, not that similar, since apparently the CBTs they offer are individually personalized, requiring hands on services vs. what the Lady and her Crew came up with, and what is provided in this Book. The Book’s approach is Self-Personalized, as the process appropriately Conditions a Sufferer, allowing them to drill down to their individual negative thoughts (and their mindset in sum), and sources of their negativity as Best as they can, to unravel and then amend matters Positively. What can be more personalized than that, especially since, negative thinking is the root cause of most A & D, or related, Issues?! When properly Conditioned, who knows more than the Sufferer does about their own negativity?… No One, and that certainly goes for the Professionals as well… So why personalize (?), I do not know, and I don’t know the specifics of these CBTs…”…. So I was thinking can other CBTs provided by the MH Pros, be such that they don’t focus in on the Root Cause of our Issues, Our negative thoughts which directly causes negative impacts to Brain & Body Chemistry, & hence our Feelings/Emotions creating our Issues, 100%… It appears that way in a slighted way as they seemingly do, cause if they taught the Proper ways for CBT which I LEARNED & wrote of, it makes it obvious that this can be or IS Self Personalized so …Hmm?  Still a bit of a mystery until I came across a CBT Type Process referred to as ERP:

Since then, when I heard via a google search,  the #1 CBT approach to deal with OCD, is ERP (Exposure Response Prevention), I looked into it more… From what I read, this approach deals with exposure of the individual Sufferer to uncomfortable situations/triggers that they have difficulty with & with the trained therapists involved, they educate the Sufferer of what it takes to react differently to the specific problem that is troubling them… & they repeat the process it sounds like until they get that right one trigger at a time(?)… Sounds kind of  abrupt on first thought, & not getting down to the Root Cause up front (i.e. one’s negative/unreal thoughts which creates the triggers & reactions),  but further downstream to that dealing with one’s Reactions to begin with for the individual triggers,  just does not seem right?!

I envision this approach as being kinda similar to if you were teaching someone to swim for the first time where you would have the subject jump into deep water without any Conditioning or training before hand but with the assistance of people to prevent the individual from drowning, time and time again until they get it right (per one of many triggers they likely have)… WHOA I’m thinking… Way Too Abrupt!… So by comparison per the Process I Learned from, which I consider Optimum, you Condition the Sufferer thru special Tools/Skills, & Meditation, thru about 2 weeks of training (or  in case of teaching one to swim teach them in shallower waters to begin with… gee, that’s how I learned to swim :)), & for the 3rd week you are provided additional Tools/Skills to educate a Sufferer on a different way of thinking if when dealing with any one of those triggers which may result in panic & what to do about those situations… Then per the Positivity Process, & in the 4th week per Book stds, when we get to the lowest level/the Root Cause of what causes the Sufferer to Suffer that is what I Believe/Know is  Optimum to begin a Recovery Process!… i.e  one’s individual negative thoughts which directly Impacts Brain & Body chemistry, our Feelings, our Emotions, & our negative Reactions & ways we Operate to matters one way or other ways, creates  our Issues for most MH Issues! 

Other than the negative genetic make-up at birth which determines our Positive or negative selves, our Positive vs. negative thinking ways over time gets us to live our lives being e.g. emotionally average, or gets us in the holes & pits of our Issues as a Sufferer or for one who Struggles… Yep, this is the only mechanism we have as humans which determines MH Matters... & So, Bottom line, when you learn how to control your thoughts per the 4th week training per section 5.5 in Main Book, after going thru the preceding Conditioning steps which we often Need if Suffer or Struggle, you are then prepared & ready  to get out there in public & deal with & Live Life Properly, honing your new skills & Learning to Live Life Comfortably in this imperfect world etc; & as far as that corollary, as a beginning swimmer we are now ready for the Deep waters :)… As we continue to Train we hone our skills and become REAL GOOD at matters, Stronger & More Secure in Process… or, as a swimmer, you may even become an Olympic Athlete :)… 

So, continuing, the rest of the Process provides additional Tools/Skills in dealing with the Sources of our negativity… Oh & section 6.8 (Ridding of those Ruminating/Obsessive Thoughts), is a section & additional Training to pick up the pieces that have not been dealt with completely,  to shed any lingering OCD tendencies in effect as work over time… As you mature with the Process embedded within, it becomes more and more NATURAL & Automatic… Yep that is how it works & Why It is So Incredibly Effective!

Hey for me… I again was Worse Case Sufferer with Anxiety, Depression, & OCD, for 25 yrs… I Can’t get any Stronger being human, No Question with of course with additional Spiritual Needs taken care of over time :)… As for the 3/3/20 Reviewer on Amazon.com site for Book, he HAD “Anxiety, Depression, OCD, PTSD his whole life” as stated to me and as he wrote in his review. And he is doing Remarkably Good also when I met him for a chat/walk about 6 months ago :)… Oh, & he was Very Spiritual to begin with which Solidifies Matters…

Any way the google search I did, indicated the effectiveness of the ERP process  is like 65 – 80% effective (with or without medication I don’t know??)… Well so far 100% of those who were willing to Read & Work the Books Process, for Sufferers I dealt with, the results were “Life Changing” (link) per the 3/3/20 Reviewer & “This book literally saved my life” (link) 9/1/15 who was a High Level Anxiety & Depression Sufferer… My Son, Bipolar 2 medication for Life the Pros said… Nonsense!  All those I came across where I’ve seen Huge Positive Impacts is ID’d in Blog post written: https://riseandshineanxietydepression.net/2020/03/10  

If this does not make Complete Sense to you for your MH, then I’m afraid Nothing really will… Use your common sense & not what you might have heard from whoever, for Yourselves! So Absolutely, the Process I Learned is Optimum, but yeah, since there would be no $s to be made if therapists were to provide a Purely TRUE Self-Help Approach for Issues for people, there’d be no jobs, & Hence that is predominantly why This Approach I Learned would never be offered & Apparently is the reason, this Optimum Process has been swept under the carpet by the Professionals… That is the only thing which makes sense to me regarding this…

For the Sufferer, it is just a Matter of TRYING & doing the Read/Work, although, being human, most people won’t as that worst negative/unreal thought or way they carry around with them, “I Can’t(s)” prevents them from doing what they need to do to Take Care of themselves & move forward in their lives Beautifully… As most “I Can’ts” have no Real Validity to them…Therefore, for the most part, the MH Community will always be busy, with the exception for those Sufferers who are fortunate & willing to look into this Process themselves, & think for themselves & Realize what is being said here. Can’t imagine this not working if TRY! And always remember you gots to do the Work yourself regardless as no one can do the Work for you!!!

One more thing to consider if contemplating matters… Do you realize the Positivity Process written in the Book, covers Everything we can do to amend or align matters in all aspects of the way we Think, Operate, & React to things, Underreacting to Everything again as it amounts to.  And it sounds like ERP just focuses on ones negative reactions & compulsions one may have to all the negativity one can have at the time of Therapy… So once they have narrowed down on specific compulsions which they try to weed out per, I guess you call it, in a ERP session (one “session” per compulsion)… however long that will take which is unspecified, what happens when there are more negatives that trickle in in Life, which triggers more compulsions…? Again, the Book’s Process deals with the negative thoughts right off the bat which may crop up and we deal with them as they occur on the fly, when properly Trained, negating all negative reactions & compulsions which would otherwise crop up…….. Besides just dealing with one’s compulsions which is what ERP centers on (only??), how about other aspects of Behavior Modification which the Book’s Process covers Beautifully?… e.g. Dealing with People & Conflicts Best with Assertive Behavior… dealing with negative thinking & worries on the fly which are keeping you up at night… other… Here is the link to the Expanded Table of Contents I provided in a Blog Post which identifies the Complete Coverage of the Optimum Book’s Positivity Process … https://riseandshineanxietydepression.net/2019/09/01/  Contemplate & Think about all what said in this post.

Ohhh, I didn’t even bring up the Issue of Cost of doing the Book’s Process vs. Costs going thru Residential ERP to resolve OCD Issues… Well, besides getting freebie Cheerleading  which I always offer if you get the Book one way or another, the Book cost is $4.99 in a E-Book.pdf or .mobi, or .epub form, $19.99 for a Paperback max $s, &  since the Highly Recommended/Intended Relaxation Media as generated by the X-Sufferer I Learned from, which is Key during Conditioning Needs up front in working Process, is no longer available as a freebie YouTuber which was available till about the same time or short of when published the Book’s “Final Cut” (The Edition of Choice!), it’s cost for a mp4 digital or a cd is about $20; Notes:… up front in all Book sites which include my Book, addresses in Book Overview, how to obtain per a Blog Post identified in that Note…. So the Total cost would be either $25 or $40 for All Our Mental Health Needs :)… NO JOKE…… Can’t even imagine how much Residential Care goes these days(???) considering what I Paid during my approx. 20 days, 4Xs in those psych wards where I Learned Nothing!!!…  Was paying $1354/day, besides additional separate costs for pay per view psychiatrists we had to see; & that was like 12+ years ago…! Actually I contacted an OCD ERP Residential Care facility about how much it would be… Of course depending on the Severity of the Condition that would establish how long the Patient would be expected to stay at the facility… What was quoted to me was $1950 a day without insurance out of pocket expenses… OMG!!!!!! Need not say more…

Between the Positivity Tools/Skills Process wrote of  (Book’s CBT Approach), Faith Formation/Our Foundation/#1 Connection with God, this is all we can do for ourselves Naturally , Providing Permanent Results.   And of course Exercise, Eating Well is also part of the Positivity Process :). Yeah, the Total Process Sums up to Our Spiritual, Emotional, & Physical Well-Being,  in that order of Importance for Sound/Solid MH within our capabilities of course For Life :)! Nothing Better my Friends :)!

ANGER, another Source of Our negativity which we Need to get a handle on, for & within ourselves, & towards Others!

6.4.   Stop being Angry and Control Mood Swings & Rid Yourself of Guilt.

“People who suffer with Anxiety and Depression are easily irritated.  They tend to over-react to Life’s typical frustrations and disappointments.  People with acute Anxiety often harbor feelings of anger and resentment that can lead to hours, days, and weeks of inner and outer bitterness.”

The only Anger I could relate with was Anger that I harbored within myself which I directed toward myself.  Anger directed towards others is Anger I could never really relate to.  Therefore, I could not readily address this type Anger, on my own with my own words, with same or equal meaning as what Lucinda provides.  Hence, you will find quite a lot of Lucinda’s quoted text here for that reason.  

We need to think before we act or react to control our real time generated Anger, or Anger we are holding onto.  We need to determine if it is really worth reacting to.  Bottom line is you need to Dissolve or Resolve your Anger. You have to ask yourself such questions as, what are you getting out of your Anger, “is the Anger doing you any good”, and is the Anger worth festering over ?    If the answer is essentially No, then, be done with it, and Dissolve that Anger.  If you are Angry at a situation that cannot be changed, then you need to just Dissolve that Anger and let it go! If you feel you need to Resolve the Anger and it involves dealing with another individual, then you need to deal with such matters Assertively and not Aggressively. 

Another key thing regarding your Anger is that the prime objective when dealing with Anger is to take care of yourself and that should be your only objective. Your objective shouldn’t be to just get back at someone.  If you handle the situation Assertively and properly, you can solve all matters appropriately.  

Again, I personally harbored Anger within me and would always direct it toward myself.  I would never really snap out at others out of Anger; it was just never in my bones to be Angry or, I thought, mean towards others on account of situations that I was at least partially responsible for.  However, on the job when I was very focused on matters at hand, I did take care of myself as required.  But I was pretty much the Passive-Aggressive type, and would conjour up that more Aggressive side, the Guido/Pit Bull within me, but in a kinder sense such that I was not mean in the process, but definitely did not handle the situation in the most appropriate and tactful manner.   I just did not know how to be appropriately Assertive, which I did learn and that I have become very good at.

Few more key things identified by Lucinda in her program regarding Anger which A & D sufferers may have when they direct their Anger towards others, because they are upset at themselves:

“Anger sows weed seeds in every part of our mind, body, and spirit.  Of all the human emotions, anger is potentially the most dangerous to our health.  Until we learn to dig out the roots, anger is a choking ground cover that thwarts happiness, leads to physical illness and emotional stunting.”

“Again, it all begins with our thoughts.  Most hostile feelings begin with inappropriate, incorrect, thoughts about other people or situations that can’t be changed.”

“For a number of years, depression was thought to be anger turned in on oneself.  We now know there are lots of other causes for depression.  However, unexpressed appropriate anger, or not knowing the healthy use of this normal but powerful emotion, still ranks high as an underlying factor in some depressions.”

“Another important insight, is that depressed individuals do not feel good (physically and/or emotionally)!”  Therefore they can understandably be short tempered.” 

If you are Angry at yourself for something that you have done in the past, you need to rid yourself of this Anger or Guilt, and likewise Dissolve or Resolve it.

Actions: 

Again, just like we need to put up the stop sign and challenge our negative thoughts as addressed in section 5.5, we need to do the same thing here with our Anger or Guilt to see if it worthwhile or not to deal with it.

  1. We need to think before we act to control our real time generated anger or anger we have been holding onto for some time.  You need to ask yourself, what outcome do you really want from being Angry?  Is it any benefit to you to be dealing with this Anger, or would it be best for you to just let it go?  Promptly dissolve Anger that doesn’t make any sense to hold on to and fester about.  If the Anger is real, and it is within your control to deal with it, then go deal with it.  If the Anger involves a conflict or issue with someone, you need to handle the conflict Assertively as identified in section 6.5  Do you really want to make someone else feel bad too with the Anger and conflict?  That should not be your objective.  But, if you handle it correctly and Assertively, then this likely would serve that purpose without intentionally attacking the individual that is making you feel angry (as illustrated by an example in section 6.5).  Taking care of yourself should be your primary, if not your only objective.  
  2. If you have trouble with something that you have done in the past, that you feel you did not handle well, and are angry at yourself about, making you feel Guilty, then challenge this situation.  EG.  Lets say there was something you did in the past, where you may have inappropriately handled a situation with an individual, maybe hurting that individual, or mistreated someone, or you did something that goes against your grain of what you believe is right vs. wrong, then you need to either:
  • let go and forgive yourself, since we all have made mistakes in our lives, and appease the situation with a higher power, if you so believe.  Of course, if your Guilt involves e.g. the mistreatment of an individual on your part, and that individual is no longer around to contact and amend matters to clear the mind, this is all you can do.  Bottom line is that we cannot undo the past but, considering that God/Jesus (if you believe) has unfailing and unflappable love and forgiveness for you, if you are truly sorry at heart, and your subsequent actions follow suit, then all should be well.  So let go and don’t beat yourself up for things that happened in the past that we cannot change or undo.  
  • if you feel you are hanging onto the guilt and you feel you would like to e.g. amend the situation with an individual who you had a conflict with which is the source of your guilt, then approach the individual assertively if you need to or in other cases just go and apologize to that individual with humility.  This will allow you to promptly let go of the inner guilt.

Refer to the main section 6, items 4) and On for the suggested Training.  Additionally, read/review section 5.5, and 6.1 again one time early during the course of your training for this section.  Regarding section 6.1 applicability, negativity developed during one’s formative years can become deeply entrenched within an individual creating one’s Anger.


Here is the Full Instruction Set & Training Suggestions per main section 6, items 4) and On for all Key sections such as e.g. for this one 6.4, 6.5… & Ditto Other 6.X sections where Training is Highly Recommended as associated sections identify:

4) Work those chosen/applicable sections and work them per the numerical 6.X order in this section. In the process of working these subsections in section 6, if they are prominent sources of negativity, then it is recommended to go through those sections per the standard approach, designated as  “Refer to main section 6, items 4) and On for Training” in the individual 6.X sections.   If the section Training identifies to review your selected material in conjunction with other 6.X sections, it is suggested to review those other sections as well accordingly, regardless if you noted them as prominent sources of your negativity

It is understood this standard extent of training (i.e. section 6, items 4) and On) may be excessive for some people depending on the significance of one’s A & D.   Everyone is different, and of course, it is your prerogative to follow this or go at your own pace.  But as already identified, this Book is geared to all levels of A & D including those most afflicted; the ones suffering most, obviously need more repetitive reviews and training than others.  Take it from Impatient me as I ridiculously went through Lucinda’s program, the first time through, in record time.  You just do not want to rush through this.  Again, you are your safe haven and safe place and you are in charge.  But do not rush, nor get overly bogged down with the subject subsections:

a) Read through/review this section (4) times following the initial reads (as defined in the Introduction in section 1), reading through this material every other day, consecutively, over the course of 1 week. It is advised, on the off days, in-between sessions of reading the material, to be a mental observer.  Being a mental observer means:

  • Be conscious of your inner dialogue and outward behavior with regard to this subject matter (i.e. “How am I thinking and behaving with this information in mind?”)
  • Take like 10 minutes each day to write about your feelings in your personal journal.   Writing is therapeutic.  Journaling provides the therapeutic approach which serves in part, to slow down and capture one’s thoughts on paper.  This helps relieves our minds of the constant barrage of thoughts in our Anxiety ridden minds.  “Write down new insights you have.  Journaling will enable you to see themes, patterns, progress and growth,” during your recovery.  “Some individuals report that they have found it to be very therapeutic to write a biography, including their experience with anxiety and depression.”
  • Write down your Goal for the week and work on achieving that goal.
  • Speak to yourself with utmost respect and catch yourself using disrespectful tones or words and immediately replace it with respectful language and compassionate tones; if you are feeling a little down at times revisit section 2 and the first Action.

b) Work the included Actions as applicable in the respective subparagraphs.

5)  During the initial phases of Recovery, it is best to cycle through the relaxation session (3) times a day, but at least do it twice a day (i.e. in the morning before starting off the day, and at night prior to going to bed). It is best to lie down when you are going through this Relaxation process for the morning, and night time sessions, but just get in a comfortable seated position for the 3rd time should be okay.  Note that recommendation for (3) times a day is geared to those suffering most.  If you are not a significant sufferer from A & D, I suggest you do this, at least in the mornings when you wake up as I do; this allows you to kick off the day on the right foot, in a calming and soothing manner.  NOTE: When you get to the Assertive Behavior section 5 and beyond that section, then it is recommended to reduce your Relaxation media routine to the morning session as a minimum which is consistent with Lucinda’s program.  However, I personally would suggest to stick to the morning and night sessions when going through the process in the Book if you can especially if you are having trouble sleeping. 6)  Each morning read at first and then recite from memory (eventually you will get there), the Daily goals identified in section 16.

7)  Don’t forget to start implementing the daily Relaxation self-talk per section 3.2, Action 3), when you wake up and as needed. Note that steps 5), 6), and 7) comprises the means to calibrate yourself properly setting the Positive tone  for the day ahead; keep doing this on a regular basis.

8)  Exercise daily striving for 25-40 minutes of aerobic exercises a day.  In process include a routine to keep the heart rate up 15-20 minutes continuously. Please refer to section 4 for details.

9)  Eat healthy and Drink plenty of water (ref: section 3)

10)  Minimize those Stimulants and Alcohol consumption; don’t think I need to tell you what to do about Drug use (ref: section 2)

11)  I think you are past the point and time for baby stepping through the steps, 8) – 10). Start doing these steps the best you can.  Remember, recovery is all up to you!

Please understand, this section 6.5, is part of the Overall Positivity Tools/Skills Process, which again is a step by step sequential build-up  process allowing  Sufferers to reach the point/time when they are appropriately prepared, and Ready for the Assertive Communication section including practicing in Real Life situations.

Again, I assure you, if you are a Sufferer, it takes a Process to Properly Take Care of Ourselves  in Life (that broken record again :), and to condition and prepare ourselves for this All Important section … No shot from the hip here my Friends as this Proven Positivity Process simply took 16 years to develop and Optimize :)… And this Process does  Flat Out Work if ya Work It!

Take Care All, and try to avoid conflicts within reason, but if ya have to deal with conflicts with others, which is part of Life, this is How Best to handle that…  Avoid passively shying away from , or getting over-blown & aggressive about these matters.

1.2. My Credentials and Why and How can I, and this Book Really Help You.

If you want to continue with just the meat of the subject matter of this Book, in case you are not interested in this part of this Book associated with its title, then please, just jump ahead to section 1.3 for continuation. This section involves some necessary promotional information, or material to help validate the Integrity of everything, really, in all that is being provided to you. Most of you don’t know me, so I figured yeah, there are a lot of books, etc. out there on how to fix A & D, so I had to be concise about this to gain your Trust. Again, this material is the only section in this Book that I would call optional. On the Positive side of the matter, this section likely will also provide a dose of endorphin enriched laughs and emotions :); of course this is the section of the Book where I had the luxury to do this so I thought I might as well have a little fun with it, although, it just turned out that way naturally. Various snapshots and snippets in Life addressing related matters are provided below. But please understand, if anyone knows the seriousness of A & D matters, then I certainly would so I am not making light of serious matters. But a laugh here or there in the process to get better and recover, is a Good & Positive reprieve for the A & D sufferer and is that good old fashioned Natural Pill that is always worthwhile to take.

So in this section I will be providing information answering the questions:

3) What are my Credentials and how can I help someone?– Not included/Expanded below in post.

Just a bit of my background up front to let you know how I fell out of the crib :).

I was brought into this world through my Beautiful Mom and Dad who were simply Amazing parents. My Dad built our beautiful, rather large red brick home on his own, while he had a full time job as an Accountant. He was the true definition of a Responsible individual, and Provider as a Family man. I mean he learned from books how to build our house on his own while maintaining that full time job. And he did everything except for having a contractor dig out the basement area; he set/laid all the bricks and everything else starting off in the contractor dug hole and on up. With the help of his brothers, my Uncles, he built the whole bloody thing; he was sooo crafty ++, and I always thought he would have made an Amazing Engineer.

As for My Mom, to this day she is the Most Beautiful Human Being I have ever met. She was so pure, humble, and so special with such a calm demeanor, with a French accent she carried through her whole Life. And could she ever cook and bake. OMG! Those Apple Pies – give me a cigarette :) !!!

Yeah, if you ever saw the show “Leave it to Beaver”, I’d be the Beave, my older brother Wally (although his name is not Wally), but I also had an older Sis who I will refer to as Sis; a Sis is not a character that existed in the original Leave it to Beaver show. So, more fittingly I guess I would call our show “Leave it to Beaver II”, since besides Sis being an additional character, this Beave may have gone a little wild in his time, but not really that wild by today’s standards I don’t think. So why did I go South with the A & D thing with an upbringing like this (?); that question I do get from some. Quite simply, it would be the gene pool theory, and I’d be the Apple from the Tree (my Dad). Note that Wikipedia addresses Mixed Anxiety and Depression causes as: “….scientists have come to multiple conclusions about the cause. This disorder is caused by a combination of biological, psychological, and environmental factors. These factors include imbalances to neurotransmitters in the brain, traumas, stresses, and an unstable home environment.” Hence, I know I received that gene from my Dad, although at the time no one could ever have sensed that about him especially because he was so Amazing. But now when I look back, based on what I know now, it is rather obvious. Mom was there to protect him in a sense, in “his Castle” I call it, behind a moat. He became somewhat unsettled when we had multiple people over to the house per the family parties we had (the glassiness in his eyes I remember now). Also, not quite as obvious, when we were going on vacation a100 miles away, a trip that was handled like we were traveling cross-country :); the extent of preparation may have been an indicator. I think my Dad prepared for every what-if possible considering all he packed under the canvas of the boat we brought up for a two week trip. Besides this he would often go back home to mow the grass or whatever on top of that. But all became obvious, witnessing my Dad’s reaction due the loss of my Mom in 2002.

My Mom passed away the morning after Thanksgiving Day in 2002. This was after my Son talked to her and then played the song “Stairway to Heaven” (her present home, Fittingly!) on his guitar for her, before ending the call on Thanksgiving Day :(. Yes my Dad went from the most independent person you could possibly imagine or meet, to the most dependent soul someone could ever get to which he never recovered from for the rest of his Life :(. It was the most difficult time for the next 20 months knowing he was 3000 miles away but there is no way anyone would take him out of his Castle. So we had a service help out but how interesting was that since he was thinking, knowing, and stating how strangers are in my House (!!!???), as we would converse on the phone, Painfully! Some say he had Alzheimer’s which he may have had a bit of, but I know it was mainly Deep Depression and he did not want to take anything for that. One time I visited him and he pointed out a Note he had written on the front of an envelope, to my Mom, that he situated by her ashes in the Urn sitting on top of our wood burning stove in the Living room area. It said something to the effect: To the Most Beautiful Women and Wife Ever …. I Love You and I Miss You Forever… He said he thought he was nuts writing that, and what I told him, with tears a flowing, Dad, that is one of the most Sane things you have ever done :(, :). He passed away 20 months after my Mom’s death :(.

After my Mom had passed, the following summer on my way up to my favorite Vacation place/Lake that my Beautiful parents introduced us to when I was probably like 10 years old, I took some of her Ashes with me (“a piece of her Heart”). When I made my 1st morning swim that year, I took the ashes and released them as I was swimming along, and that day I took the longest swim I ever did at the Lake. The Emotions and Energy I felt during that swim, some momentary sadness which was then completely overshadowed by the Positives she left me in Life was extremely Powerful which made for a relatively simple, approximately 2 mile swim. This was almost exactly 1 year after I started Lucinda’s program. I thought, without those tools, I would have probably been Very Depressed instead to say the least, if I would have been around at all…; Thank God and Angel Lucinda for coming through!

After my Dad passed away, when I was at the House for the last time after his death, I had to bring Mom’s and Dad’s Urns to the local cemetery. Before I did that, something I was driven to do, I took some ashes from both Urns, I mixed them together, and went in the back yard of my Home, Castle, and sprinkled the ashes about, including in Her Garden. The last portion I was at the back lip of the yard looking over the local Lake… it had been a very warm and muggy day and the air was very stagnant with no breeze all day and I clearly remember that… I Swear, when I threw the Ashes up and forward in the direction of the Lake, there was a Gust of wind that came up and blew the ashes back towards the House/Castle. I had heard of stories of Magical/Blessed moments like that happening, and at that Moment I certainly Felt and Sensed it myself :(, :) !

Yes, I did have two of the Best Parents ever :) !!!

Anyway, considering what is written below, Please understand it is always important to judge someone on the basis of how they are doing today vs. how they did or were doing yesterday and prior days. In my case yesterday was hardly crazy at all, I would think from today’s standards, but I need to identify such matters, to show you that I am that Honest to a Fault type as previously indicated, etc. From what is written, I think you will be able to draw the conclusion that I can be Trusted including the material I am writing about.

1) So, Am I honest ?:
I had an early indication in my Life, that really made it clear, doing something really wrong or dishonest was truly not within me. When I was like 8ish or 9ish, in I think 3rd grade, classmates at school were saying how cool it was to take something free from a store, like candy… Well, it sounded like a good idea at the time but not sure. So what I did, I walked, a mile away to the local IGA store. I am trying to remember if I had cohorts along with me to carry out this crime or not :), but I think I went with at least one friend, my best friend from almost child birth it seemed – Brian; we did everything together, from that age through till graduation from college pretty much. I guess we were known by some as Frick and Frack :); just now I realize looking on Google they were real characters i.e. two Swiss skaters who came to the U.S. in 1937 and joined the original Ice Follies show as comedy ice skaters :) – well we were not Swiss, nor could we skate then but sounds good to me :) …. Little tangent here: unfortunately, Brian passed away working as an Intern Dentist up in Alaska, as he was being transported in a small plane that crashed on his way to an Eskimo village in bad weather; That hurt Real Bad since he was my very Best friend Ever; he was Special and Smart! :( …. Continuing, so I went into IGA and I heisted the large size 10 cent packet of Sweet Tarts …. it was a golden package with rainbow/sweet tart colored lettering, and I was thinking Gold – Eureka!…. We then fled the scene of that crime :). When I got home and I was going to reap the benefits of my fortune, I began to feel So Guilty, and I just could not open up that package and pour it down which I was going to do. So, what do you think I did? I pretty much, immediately, walked back down to the store and I turned myself in, Seriously! I went up to a worker lady and Mr. Hennigan, owner of the store, was standing near-by/off to the side if I remember right; hey I was probably cross-eyed by then :) and my Parents knew him which was not surprising since Liverpool, N.Y., where I grew up, was a pretty small suburban town of Syracuse and it seemed everyone knew everyone somewhat; at least in our little world. Well, I don’t remember if I was crying or anything but I know I said something to effect, Miss, I did something real bad, holding the bag of Sweet Tarts up toward her with both hands, like in prayer or something :), .. …I took this, and I am So Sorry, I am So Sorry…. she responded with a big smile actually, maybe laughing (?) and said, thanks honey for being honest and bringing that back, or something like that. It was a blur and again, maybe I was a bit cross-eyed :). Well, my first job in Life I had was at IGA and fortunately I was not condemned for my crime :). Well, needless to say, I had honesty engraved in me at an early age!

When I was 14 years old in early summer after my freshman year in high school, I was cat and dog sitting for a neighbor (besides mowing their yard weekly). Well, this was at a time when my friends and I were preparing for the International Regatta which was a yearly collegiate boat/shell crew race on the Onondoga Lake, right below our house which we were beginning to know it to be the local party of the year. And at that age we were gathering liquor any way we could. Well, for that event, I did venture up into the neighbor’s liquor cabinet once and they did have lots of supplies and I dabbled in some to save for later. So, what little I took out of the individual bottles, I replenished with water. I figured they would never know or find out and no harm done. But if I did get caught, that would be nothing vs. a previous cat and dog sitter they had; a common neighbor up the road. Apparently, if I remember right, he was firing their 22 cal rifle in their back yard at the time. So what I was doing is nothing I thought, and by comparison, I’d be an Angel. My Bad really though !!! Anyway, that year at the Regatta, I paid the price! I drank a fair amount of what was in my supply before I ventured down to the lake to watch the races; yeah right watch the races :). I remember to start off this long and exciting day at the Lake, I thought I would start drinking burgundy poured in beer bottles. I think I had (3) of them, and then I was planning on — BAM, out cold, rolling from side to side in the grass, totally out of it ++++. Did I see one boat all day? – NO :). Getting sick left and right…. Late in the day, my Bro came down looking for me at a time I was kind of recovering. I walked up with him back to the house. When I noticed the time, I was thinking, hey instead of going to church the next morning, I’ll go to the 7:00 PM mass (I think that was the time). So I drove my bike down and went in church, without any preparation really. I was coming to my senses then and I did realize before long as I was walking in the church down/up the main isle or sitting in the pew, I was drawing a lot of attention for some reason — hmmm. Well, afterwards it was clear when I really looked in the mirror – Good God !; I realized, I definitely paid the price reminiscing about the day, and what I did. Thereafter, I received some serious wrath from Mom when she found out about the church thing mainly (again, everyone seemed to know everyone else in town).

One time after that when I was 16, a junior in high school, I did something very wrong, and stole a package of Borkum Riff pipe tobacco. This came after scoring an underground used tobacco Pipe and a used silver, red lettered, lighter from Brian ….clearly remember it had a “Young and Franklin” insignia on the front with an address I think so it was obviously a high quality lighter :)… Brian had all the connections since he was going to the public school system. I was jealous at first. I was in a catholic high school at that time called “Christian Brothers Academy” where I had to wear a suit coat and tie pretty much every day (through 4 years). Sounds strict and you would be thinking back then that everyone was completely straight laced and good to the bone. Well, not really, because, when they were getting really strict in the public school system, when I was like a Junior, we were still considered that trustworthy group of students, so we were getting away with an awful lot, e.g. smoking pot and drinking beer before typing class in the back woods, etc. :); Seriously :). I remember the first class I was in after doing this, one of the typewriters was actually malfunctioning and smoking and I thought what :)?

Well back to the story of the stolen Borkum Riff tobacco, I realized that it would not be wise to turn myself in, no doubt, nor sneak it back in with like (2) pipes full of tobacco missing, which I had smoked, since, I was thinking, if someone bought it minus (2) pipe fulls, well that would just not be right… But did I ever feel guilty about that whole incident for a long time, and I made a commitment to God I would/could never steal anything ever again which I never did thereafter, unless you consider taking a pen from work or something to be in that category :).

The only other time I took something which was not even stealing, was that I took the head of a putter that had broken off from its shaft from the garbage actually (or heading to the garbage), in the stockroom where I worked for a warehouse type store (think it was called “Century House”, in Liverpool, NY). Well, shortly after that they gave all the employees a lie detector test. Only I could feel guilty about taking the putter head, and probably as the detector’s needle was going haywire, I confessed the fact I took the putter head but explained everything. Obviously though, they were thinking, that cannot be the only thing he has taken, because of the results of the test. This was a real good indicator that significant levels of Anxiety and Depression were in my future. I was promptly laid off. I was rather recently reading a book about the Life of Walter Cronkite who was renowned for his Honesty, and Trustworthiness as a News Reporter amongst other Positive things. However, he was quoted as saying, if he ever was given a lie detector test and if he was asked if he killed, Hitler, and said No, he would have failed the test miserably :); ditto me I thought, No Doubt :). Hmm, wonder if Walter had trouble with Anxiety and Depression? Before heading out to CA. to begin my job at Douglas Aircraft, I was given a Blood Pressure test, and I was so paranoid what the readings would be and BAM for unknown reasons at the time, they prescribed me Valium. Hence another good indicator I was heading for trouble. It was just a matter of time!

As far as lies in Life that I created, that I had to hold onto for some time: Per the first three cases below, they were intended to spike my image as a Cool Teen in the 18 – 19 year old range; I was really insecure for whatever reason at the time (which is very clear to me now). The truths of these lying matters in writing are:

a) I never dated nor have been with an Afro American girl; yep, I was saying that :)…Nonetheless, I was always Color blind in Life…

b) I was not caught by my Mom in bed in my room when she brought up a basket of my clean cloths, where I was de-clothed and entangled with a girl in an interesting position, such that I looked directly at my Mom’s face and saw her expression as she walked through the door —Wow, when I write this down :).

c) I did not have sex during the high school years; going to an all-male high school (Christian Brothers Academy) certainly did not help those matters out. First time was when I was at a SU (Syracuse University) party, and met and slept with some gal claiming she was a roadie for some rather popular band; drawing a blank on the band’s name.

d) This is an extension of the truth when I was hitchhiking around the country with my buddy JW in 1976 after, ditching my dead car in Brownsville, Texas, which did happen: As I was combing a cow field for those funny mushrooms:), even though I had a brush with a huge Texas Steer that was quickly walking in my direction, at which time I simply slid through to the safe side of a barbed wire fence, the bull did not charge at me with like smoke coming out of the nose or anything. I did not actually say that but I was painting that picture each time I was telling the story :). Nor, did I have to dive to my safety over the fence to avoid him and death. And as I write this, I am thinking twice about and wondering if I even had a Bull walking toward me, or was it a cow, or ? Goes to show how a lie can translate and cloud ones thoughts and memory of what really went on. I guess the next stage of lies if done on a continuous basis would be a state of denial; a google search on this identified this guess to be true.

e) I stole a little pot from my brother who had his stash in his safe. I had to pick the lock and everything. It was 1, 10 – tough lock to pick :). I’ve fessed up in the meantime.

f) And yeah, when it came to my Security interview with Northrop Grumman in 9/84, I indicated I never did anything and was clean as a whistle. Fortunately, they were not probing me with a lie detector, or else my career and where I worked for the next like 33 years would have been quite different. Well actually at that time, I was clean and I remained that way till 8/88 when I broke down and had a joint with my brother as we took my Dad’s boat around the Lake in upstate NY (my favorite place on Earth to this day), with his X wife and mine, …. hit a rock which to this day I could never find again, seriously??– must have been a heck of a joint :) …. upon returning to the dock, my older brother bolted and then my Dad came out to the end of the dock to inspect the boat and immediately looked down and noticed the damage done to the prop and motor; I guess Bro’s escape attempt did not work or was a red flag :). But my initial reaction was I could not believe my Dad could “Shine” like that…. where we hit rock was not even close to the dock, nor within sight of the dock — Wow :). I just said to him, well I wasn’t driving so … :). Bro and I at the time were like 36 and 32 years old respectively, but with the pot consumption that day, and at that moment, we felt like we were 10 again, maybe :).

This Security clearance lie was the worst of them all, because I had to carry this lie with me throughout my whole career, always hoping I would never have to face a lie detector test; if that happened that would have drastically changed everything. What bothered me about the whole thing is when I met Air Bearing Manager BS, who I really got along with, since he was a bit of a wild hair also. He told me when he went through his Security interrogation, he told the complete truth including the fact he took some of those Timothy Leary journeys as well. He was cleared because he was clean well before his security review day and forward in time, and Security understood he was telling the truth. After hearing this, I really wished I would have been completely honest myself ; Dag nab it I thought! Again, the lesson being is, Honesty is the Only Policy. It would have been fine back then, since they had to hire a bunch of people for the B2 bomber contract and they did not care so much about your past as I believe they do now (?), unless serious matters were involved.

But yeah, I was a bit of a clean cut Hippie (or maybe a wanna be Hippie) – lots of the Herb… brandishing occasional Fro(s)… summer look, short beat up jean shorts, bare foot, no shirt … (3) Timothy Leary adventures with bud Brian …. one time skiing which was Way Too Good since I was a Skier, one time at Buffalo State, Brian’s college where we took a Magical Mystery tour with the Beatles and a Journey to the Center of the Earth via Rick Wakeman, and when we got there we hung out for over a ½ hour (actually), if I remember right, at the center via the last track on the LP :) , and the other partying at Brian’s, as lil Sis attempted to catch up to our buzz to no avail (in meantime told her why)… hitched around the country meeting Cool people after initially starting off in my 69 Mustang …. Almost busted first night in Pikesville, Maryland at dusk… 3 -5 Police cars on the spot …caught syphoning gas with open bottle of Jim Beam or JD (?) in open and upright position in back seat with pot spewed everywhere next to the bag also on the back seat…. They actually ended up saying get the hey out of town and if we ever see you here again…. They did not even throw away our supplies in the car, except the pump, and since we were more stoked about that than freaked out, we kept the party going (we must have left the Pikesville MD police in a numbing state or something (?)… had Peyote Buttons while swimming up then down, or down then up the American River in Colfax, CA in the raw…. ,(1) week at Lake Travis in Austin, Texas stayed at the nude beach local for about week or 5 days, and all that went along with that (e.g. guy with guitar singing Margarita Ville and only missed a note when, this naked Girl….) …spent a day or (2) at Blacks Beach , CA, the local nude beach local… of course de-clothed immediately and was having breakfast cereal on lap with table cloth in place (my towel fortunately) … called over two gorgeous nude tanned girls 18 ish + (10s I thought/knew) – and there they were talking to us like no biggee – although I fortunately was wearing the tablecloth ….Sorry…. :). Yeah, I guess I was always a Hippie at heart (at least)…

g) Oh, and then the (2) pre-marriage lies that I got myself into, and each time was caught red handed by the wife to be (my X now), almost as soon as the related events occurred….. went to a strip bar “Fritz’s” in Long Beach after a softball game, and that is the only time we did that as a team, and truly the only time I have been to a strip club in CA.,… we were gathering notes on possible entertainers at upcoming bachelor party for a good friend Rog (not me taking the notes though) …of course told Da Wife To Be (DWTB) that we just went to the place we always go to after the games, “Thirsty Isle”… lo and behold, she came out to meet us which was the only time she made that drive to Long Beach to meet us, so I figured what are the chances …. and the bar owner blew us in…. “no you didn’t …@#%$…” ( :), I can smile now), and if I remember right, I think I took a diamond in the forehead or something similar (?), or that would have been less painful; that was a bit of a blur — call this you dummy #1 lie with DWTB. Then the bachelor party happened and we made a clause that we were to tell all, that we did not have strippers but just had those typical movies (i.e. what happens at the Bachelor Party stays at the Bachelor Party) … that is the story I told DWTB…. guess what …. the one getting married, good ole Rog, could not hold in the secret and it all came out …. at our next softball game, cat is out of bag with tons of pictures taken and flying around the bleachers compliments of my other friend MG, and the pictures were equipped with the main Female Entertainer (looked like a librarian to begin with), and her Duracell (obviously) battery pack buddy (Sorry!! :) – Oh Man) . I don’t think we won that game :) …. it was a blur. In all reality at the party I had my back up against the wall on top of a sofa even though there was no threats at the party from behind :), and that is what I told DWTB…. and all those pictures floating around backed up my honesty….wwhheeww kind of, but DWTB had serious wrath capability nonetheless ….turned out Bachelorette almost bailed but they went through with an eventual good marriage… So that was dummy move #2. I swore there would not be a third strike or I would have been out early before getting married or early on thereafter.

h) As far as accentuations of harmless truths (i.e. saying whatever is bigger, worse, faster, slower, grander, etc. vs. reality), yeah a few here and there, but, who hasn’t?

Well, since the Original cut, when this statement and list was generated, there were a few more minor hiccups of untruths that came to mind from way back then. But really though, no need to bring up anything else here… Anyway, this is what I will be taking with me to the Pearly Gates, along with the other ones not mentioned which God already knows about, which I came to terms with Him on :).

Everything else I have said, or stories I told were the complete truth: such as… yes, my sweet Mom kind of helped me grow my first pot plant (watered it a time or two)… but of course she did not know what it was… before I knew it there was my Mom showing her neighbor friends this beautiful plant, with her French accent and everything…. Oh-oh, time to harvest… the next summer, the summer before my hitch hiking trip around the country, I grew 3 rather sizeable pot plants on our bank in our yard (lots of bushes and trees)…but upset could not get them to bud up…. the first girl that I had a quick fling with in CA., is someone I came across, if I recall right, the first or second time at the Jacuzzi in the apartment complex I presently live at now, approximately 33 years ago, …found out the girl was a nun who just got out of the nunnery/convent and she was out to have a little fun, and there I was :). I’m thinking, I must be in California or something :). Yeah, I initially lived in L-101 for about half year there, met my first friend L, who happened to be married to my eventual wife to be, who I met shortly after…. went down and lived at 816 West Oceanfront, on Balboa Peninsula, Newport Beach, on the beach…. Lived there with 3 other guys, L, D, and M (reminded me of the hippie looking character in Doonesbury). D was interesting who had a different girl every night it seems in makeshift 4th bedroom we plumbed up with a single panel for one wall/barrier; those girls would be pretty darn vocal…..one stole our silver ware, which was hardly silver :) …. went to the Mustang Ranch (not the Vegas one :)) till closing time, often mid-week…. But still getting up and driving to work to Douglas Aircraft in Long Beach up PCH … and back each night down PCH….like going back to vacation land…At Douglas, there was like 150 new college hires and a bit of a party was always going on it seemed…. Found out about the “Executive Cafeteria”, and thought for sure we qualify, so I and like 3 or 4 others for like a week went to the cafeteria, had waitresses and everything, great food, great prices, wow what a Life…and to celebrate a couple times coming back to work, I would get a cigar at the company store, bring it back to building 35 or 36 (?) where I worked in a large open bay area, where you could look across and see whoever, far away… I would put my feet up, light up, and smoke that cigar thinking … Life is Good!… My boss JW was the nicest guy, and not sure what he was thinking, but I was informed at week’s end, we really don’t qualify to go to that “Executive Dining Hall”…ooopppsss… sometime thereafter, went to my first job trip to Pensacola, Florida with JW and others, and was staying at this hotel, that ironically had a bar in it known as the “Body Shop” – Sweet! …. Sounded good to me, so the next 4 nights I was there. And I will never forget the last night … well, went back to the room with some gal … woke up late the next morning, and she took my picture … because that previous night or morning hours (?), went searching for those balloons to no avail, and the attitude then was Oh well…I was a real dummy and someone was looking out for me….and continuing, someone knocked at the door, and everyone was there waiting for me, including my manager JW, and so the Girl preceded before me out the door…. Wow did I feel sooo bad, as Nice as my manager JW was…. He turned very red in embarrassment it seemed, or maybe he just wanted to wring my neck (?)….. oh gosh I was thinking… Enough on the stretch of truisms…

All in all though, no matter what I did, I certainly could never do anything to hurt nor harm anyone in any way, other than maybe when you get into those usual/normal dating and emotions issues, but nothing really and if someone was hurt it probably was me more often; there is one exception I do need to bring up though, although I did not hurt someone in the process really. The incident: I had been beating myself up forever, and I actually just brought it up with the individual involved just hours ago from when I originally wrote this part of the manuscript. This person is a dear Friend of mine who lives like 3000 miles away ….she is my childhood friend Brian’s little Sis J, and to me she was always my lil Sis (that’d be that person), which was truly the best way to handle that relationship; she was about (4) years younger. I had to keep that frame of mind because when I got older and when time was creeping toward the end of my College days, she was getting pretty darn hot :)…. Sorry lil Sis J. But the regrettable moment was when I had a College graduation party at our house, and she came up to my room to have a little smoke – Hey that was common thing to all who migrated up to my Party Room without any weird thoughts or anything…. it just had that reputation… and True Schmuck I was at that moment… well I was definitely Buzzed sucking on a Keg mainly, and Pipes, Joints behind the scenes!! I actually hit on her, my lil Sis. Give me a Bat – Bam, Bam, Bam… and that would be well deserved :). I thought, afterwards realizing what I did with a clear mind– what ??? Hitting on my little Sis – How pathetic!… Well, I was clearly not the Adult at that moment, She was!… Thank You lil Sis J, and Thanks for your forgiveness!

As far as harm to non-humans, I had BB guns, and something I am really not proud of, but I did shoot some birds, frogs, a squirrel, a rat (I think), and a woodchuck. When I held up my last kill, I think it was a Baltimore Oriole , I did not like myself and thought I would never hunt in my Life, ever again; I thought how meaningless, and this poor bird… how could I ??? As for Dogs, I do have a soft spot and love for them. I firmly believe Dogs are the most balanced species of all living things on earth including humans no question, possessing the Ideal blend of Intelligence and Instinct. Their typical even keel temperament through their whole Lives day to day is an indicator of this although understandably they are a product of their upbringing and unfortunately, there are people out there that have dogs and shouldn’t. As for us homo sapiens, we possess a much less than an ideal combination of intelligence and Emotions considering all the highs and all the lows from day to day the typical person can go through, and in numbers we are !!??; any argument :)? Continuing on the subject of my hunting skills, I know I could never have been a good hunter. But I do know I’d be a better target though….reminiscent when I blew off the top of my thumb pretty much, when I had “Thumbs up” before hitting the target with a high powered cross bow (like 500 ft/sec type or something) …while fueled by a couple of my home brews and a shot of moonshine, and la, la, la, and watching Sunday afternoon football games in friends E & J’s back yard, and then … almost a Bulls eye !!! … but my thumb ???… Whoa !!!!!

And I was that bad one in the family, if I could be considered bad at all (?) My older Sis, was like a Saintress, and Bro, I don’t think he was too far behind. However, when he did go to college, he was in a Frat, and I am sure some cool things happened that he kept secret. And then I remember seeing him come back from college for the first time; he seemed to be a bit of a hippie on his return. Cool, my Bro’s a Hippie! I was a freshman in high school at that time, and that is the time in Life when I grew up where I went from the supposed perfect child to a bit toward the wilder side. He was sporting a Fro, a Hippie type psychedelic shirt, and a large green plastic Peace sign. That’s it I thought. I wanna be a Hippie :). And I remember when Woodstock came up in NY, in August 69, I really thought I would have liked to have been there, but there is no way I would have been able to go when I was 13. I thought about that even more when bro came home as a bit of a hippie, when I was 14; Gosh Darn!. Always Loved watching Woodstock…..Loved the music, Jimi, Santana, Crosby Stills, Ten Years After (I’m going home – Amazing!), Joe Cocker, etc. Now it has been all Pink Floyd lately (actually with a good mix via Pandora), as I have been writing this manuscript during often strange hours – every CD track in my car is Pink Floyd. I always loved hearing a good guitar player ! Jimi, Johnny Winters, David Gilmore now…I was never musically inclined myself, but my Son got the gene; he is a solid guitar player! I was blown away one time on a farewell outdoor event they had on the last day in middle school when Son was an 8th grader. He got up on stage, for the last or closing act actually, and played his guitar like I have never heard him play before, fast and all over the neck and so creative; it blew me away although I knew I heard that sound before from something/somewhere but it skipped my mind at the time what that was ?? I asked him what he had played. And when he told me it was Jimi’s last solo at Woodstock, Whoa, that was way too cool :) !!!

As for My Mom, if she did not qualify for Sainthood, no one would …And my Dad, was Golden as well, and the ultimate, most responsible Dad ever I thought. So how bad could us 3 get? Obviously, Not! Just a few snippets about Mom/Dad: Mom grew up in Belgium and was pretty/real well off … very educated with a Pharmaceutical degree…my Dad was a French interpreter during the war and in Belgium post D-day … looking for a piano in the area… met the Marganne family who had the piano…my Mom walked down the stairs to see what was going on… and it was the pre-natal stages of Leave it to Beaver II … but before that he came back to the states for like 2 years, I think that is when he got his degree as an Accountant … he went back to Belgium to marry Mom and take her back to the states .. Whoa – her family was not happy about that :)! … Mom was loved by all and they did not want to see her go! And that is how “Leave it to Beaver II” was born :).

Anyway I think by now you realize I may be relatively honest :). So don’t you think I would be telling the God’s honest truth about the contents of this Book? Hope you are saying absolutely, no doubt ….Again, for me, and as could be the case for significant sufferers from A & D out there, what written could be a Life Saver and how could anyone, no matter who they were, lie about something like this !!

1.1 Key Information within Book “Rise and Shine Parents Self-Help Guide for the Youngins”, for Educating Parents & their Youngins…

This provides a snapshot of the Total Reference Book Process included in the Parents Guide section 1.1,  as flowed down from Ref. Book (“Rise and Shine Anxiety & Depression & Life Management Tools”) .  Collectively the Total Process provides all we can do for ourselves as humans to take care of ourselves, Naturally, with Permanent results…

Information provided below should provide enough information which you can flow down to your Youngins, as you see fit, depending on their curiosity, age, & mental maturity … Your prerogative of course as Parent or Mentor.  Of course if you have the Ref. Book on hand, you have Everything :).

2)  What the Positivity Tools/Skills Process does for an Individual, the Facts of the matter, & Why So Effective when Read and Work It:

A  Positive mindset is what it takes to Aspire in Life; most People Understand that now… And a negative mindset will create all those Bad feelings, emotions and Issues… 

We have to LEARN how to take care of Our Selves and Our Well-Being!  We typically cannot just figure things out on our own & what it takes unless we are an Aberration in Life and are Naturally a rather a Positive Individual to begin with vs. being more negative which is more of the norm these days … Actually as humans, Naturally we tend to operate in directions of thoughts and actions overreacting to matters and accentuate our negative feelings… When we get Anxious, we tend to get more Anxious, Overreacting to things, and when we get lowly, and Depressed, we cower away and don’t want to talk to others, as we get consumed and that often amounts to not taking care of Ourselves as we should…

And Remember, or you will Learn in Life over time, in order to be GOOD at anything in Life we have to work hard at that… Same thing applies with working on our mental health! No One Can Do The Work for the Sufferer but themselves… But as a Youth, Guidance is necessary until you are old & mature enough to pick up the Ref. Book and Read & Work on yourselves on our own.

    • Facts are: negative thoughts impact Our brain/body chemistry in a negative way, creating our Bad feelings, Emotions, & Issues over time, and Positive thoughts serves to Normalize matters, brain/body chemistry, feelings and emotions, Lifting our Spirits and eliminating those mental health Issues (Anxiety/Depression, etc.) So bottom line, negative vs. Positive thinking is what we need to deal with over the course of the day, or thru Life to control our Well-Being.  Our Well Being (i.e. How Good or Bad We feel), is a function of the Sum of Our negative and Positive thoughts over time.
      • & What are Negative thoughts? As section 5.5.1 in Ref. Book identifies, “Negative thoughts make you feel bad, lowly, sad, anxious, depressed. Most negative thoughts we have are not real (but perceived, imagined, anticipated), they are often not realistic, not rationale, and not valid.  Give them little time and bury them, weed them out, stifle them.”
      • & What are Positive thoughts? Contrarily, as section 5.5.2 in Ref. Book identifies, “Positive thoughts: are empowering, invigorating, energizing. They make you feel GOOD through and through.  They are so real, realistic, rationale, and valid. Anything that makes you feel good, relaxed, soothed etc. is a Positive.”
      • Also can’t forget to mention, our negative thoughts we come up with are unreal most of the time… Like 95% of the time or maybe even more… The Positive thoughts we provide to ourselves are the Real thoughts… But on that note, we have to be Honest to ourselves or we won’t believe them in our Self Thoughts/Talk.

If We become rather negative, cortisol is produced and starts ripping through Our Body setting Ourselves up with Anxiety, and possibly, Panic Attacks.  Also, with such a negative mindset, serotonin levels diminish over time leading eventually to Depression.  When We become Positive per the Book’s Cognitive/Behavioral Modification Repetitive Training Process, after having prior Issues with negativity, this Normalizes Our brain/body chemistry overtime.  And if We continue to be Positive through Life, It Is Just A Beautiful Feeling :); Nothing is Better than that Feeling!  When We Get That Way, We essentially want to Do Everything, Go Everywhere, and See Everyone, but when We Don’t, Sadly, We Don’t want to, nor may not want to do anything (to the extent of being Agoraphobic).  Refer to item 4) below, if interested, which addresses the slew of those negative feelings & emotions we can have when we experience Anxiety & Depression.

Detailed Positivity Process includes Optimum/Proven Coping Skills & Tools.  These Tools & Skills are those we were not born with, but we need to Learn.  The Ref Book also includes, Exercise & Eating Well (i.e. per section 3), and laughter & :)s. Collectively, this teaches us how to change or reprogram a negative mindset to a Positive mindset to prevent or eliminate significant levels of Anxiety and Depression (or related) in Life.  

More Specifically, this Process allows us to drill down to our individual negative thoughts/mindset & sources of those negative thoughts (i.e. the Root Cause of our Issues),  & changing those to Positives in thoughts/mindset via the Tools/Skills provided. This Self-Personalizes the process for Everyone! 

(Actually this one is included in other parts of the Parents Guide for the Youngins & not in 1.1. here but FYI:) What one Learns via the Guide’s/Ref. Book’s Positivity Process Essentially Changes the way you Think, Operate, & React ( or Under-react actually) to Everything which is KEY & Necessary for Recovery/ Improvement, & subsequent ability to Aspire in Life. 

3)  As far as the Other Key Aspect we Need for Our Positive Well-Being, that involves, One’s Foundation/Faith & Focus on Our #1 Dependence as addressed in section 4 of the Ref Book. This is the Basis of Our Positivity when we have a Strong Foundation. However with a Weakened Foundation, that serves to be the Basis of Our negativity… The latter is the result of Not living Life Righteously, & with Integrity!  So, really this could be our #1 Source of Our negativity if not living GOOD Lives! Consider the simple Fact: When We do Good/Right things with Integrity, etc. in Life, that’s such a Positive making us feel Good!  And when We do things Wrong & Opposite that, that be negative, and those make us feel Bad…  Living thru a Full Life it seems, a couple times thru, it is Crystal Clear as written in the Reference Book, We need Our #1 Support System to Help and Solidify Matters, Our Well Being, and Our Peace of Mind to Live Comfortably in this imperfect world.  Furthermore, that is why in “The Final Cut” of the Ref. Book, I refer to Our Faith/Our Foundation/God in Essence at least 1/2 the Game in Life if want to consider Life a Game!

Now as for matters regarding Our Faith/Our Foundation/Our #1 Dependence, and It’s Importance, & as they go hand in hand with those Positivity Tools/Skills Process, here is a snapshot of some of that related “text within the Ref. Book”,  or related words:

Aside from the Positivity Tools/Skills Process….“Additionally, this Book goes One Big Step further, addressing what I and many Others believe, is Necessary to Solidify Recovery (or Improvement) from Our Anxieties & Depression, and then Solidify Our Well Being (i.e. Our Positivity and Peace of Mind). This allows us the potential to achieve True Peace of Mind/Tranquility through Life, Living Comfortably in an imperfect world (Everyone’s Goal!).  When we become Positive Thinking People via the Key Tools and Skills Process included in this Book, which Is Crucial for People to appropriately deal with their earthly problems, especially for significant sufferers from Anxiety and Depression, we then become more Clear In Thought and More Apt to See and Sense What Really Is Important in Life; and that Should Include Our Belief System/Spirituality/God (addressed in section 4 of this Book).  When we acknowledge, per my and many other People’s Beliefs (hopefully), that without God, there would be absolutely nothing, including Ourselves, all the Animals and Wildlife, and this Ecologically Perfect World we were born into…  well, that pretty much sums it up and validates it … doesn’t  it, or shouldn’t it :)?  Unless of course, we believe in the Big Bang theory where, I guess, that belief is based on some state of entropy or something where All This including Ourselves, just miraculously by luck/chance, came into being and ended up this way ((?:)).  For those who are not sure, I ask you… did All of This come from nothing at all, or from Something rather SPECIAL :)? If you’re thinking something Special, you are on the Right Track :)! … When we work on our Positivity via the Tools, Skills, and Instruction set specifically addressed in this Book, together with Our Faith/Our Foundation/ Our #1 Dependence (God/Jesus if Christian) ref section 4 in Book, Collectively, I Firmly Believe this is as Good as we can do for ourselves as human beings on planet Earth, providing us that potential to achieve that True Peace of Mind through Life.” 

“…… I often refer to the Positivity Tools/Skills Process (i.e. Book’s majority in page count), to be a Stepping Stone, or an Enhancement of Faith!  This Process would allow negative thinking Individuals a Quicker Path to allow One’s Faith to Grow, as we put those Positivity Tools/Skills in the Book in play, Clearing Up Our minds from all the negative clutter, and allowing Our Thoughts to be Clear.  Isn’t it understood, by All, when we are Positive vs. negative, and are Clear of Mind, Our Connection to Everything in and around us just seems to be So Much Better vs. when we are negative? Of Course it does or is, needless to say!  Hence, this Positivity Process does allow our Connection with the “Big Picture” (God), to become Stronger and Stronger, and Deeper and Deeper as we progress! This is Certainly what I experienced…”

“In Essence, the Positivity Tools complement/supplement the Bible addressing How Best We can take care of Ourselves based on our Biological and Physiological makeup as humans, not covered within the Bible.   Examples of this includes: Importance of Exercise, Eating well, :)s/laughter… how to breathe Best as humans … how best to deal with our worries as best we can, dealing with those worries of today, and not the worries of tomorrow or thereafter as addressed in the Bible, & providing necessary Details regarding such matters…”

“At times, our Positivity which we can develop extensively/beautifully via the included Positivity Tools/Skills Process, can only take us so far, until we reach that threshold within us, past the burden we can bare, when we need More (i.e. Our Faith…); unfortunately, help from another human is very limited.   I have grown to know this from firsthand experience, with some of those (very) down times.  Considering an example of an Extreme case of the combination of PTSD, and subsequent Addiction (to alcohol), Faith was the only answer for Louis Zamperini! His biography is written in the Book “Unbroken”, addressing this, which is also addressed fully in the sequel to the movie “Unbroken”, entitled, “Unbroken: Path to Redemption”.

“As we proceed through, and Hopefully acclimate to section 4 of the Book, Repetitive Training definitely comes into play in our personal journey to shore up Our Foundation, and allow Our Faith to Grow;  i.e. via repetitive readings of the Bible/Scriptures etc. (if Christian), and of course Prayer.  This is similar to Repetitive Training needs when learning the Positivity Tools/Skills Process, addressed in section 5 & 6.  And Yes, Prayer is synonymous in a sense, with the Positive self-talk we provide to Ourselves as we proceed through the Process.  When we then inter-mix Our Positivity self-talk with Prayer in statements  we say to ourselves, as I address in section 4.4, per the (4) bulleted self-talk statements provided as examples, this becomes Especially Effective…  So when we include Prayer in the Positive Self-Talk statements to Ourselves, this I believe, makes these Self-Talk statements as Powerful as they can be, as we allow Faith to Grow.” 

“I am Certain, when we battle Deep Depression as I have, the Power in Something Much Bigger than us, is a Huge factor in the Process to help deal with such matters in Our Lives, when coupled with the Positivity Tools/Skills Process.  What Definitely Helps, as I’ve learned, are those (4) Positivity self-talk statements (shown in section 1.2.1 in this Guide) intermixed with Prayer mentioned above, as we allow Our Faith to Grow… Doing this just seems to double up on How Powerful they can be when dealing with Our Issues.” 

“In fact, I formulated those 4 bulleted Positivity/Prayer statements (included in section 1.2.1 in this Guide) above, when I was going through a Significant Depressive time in my Life early on! I was definitely in a Bad way at the time… I just remember when I kept saying/thinking those words during those times, things really started turning around for me Positively, pulling me out of the Mud …  Previously, I was working Positivity statements which I had learned by that time, but that alone did not seem to cut it in that state of mind I was in.  I Needed Additional (!), and that is when I felt the need to lean more on/into my Faith…  That was What I Needed!  I Knew by then, no way in hell I was going to go with that medication garbage (!); hmmm fitting words :)!  That made it Very Clear, the Importance & Power of tying Our Positive Statements in with Prayer (Faith), especially when in Recovery from Depression (at the very least for me as I felt at times).  But Yes, I found providing such self-talk to myself, seems Very Effective all the time. And an FYI for ya … I do often end those end of Positivity/Prayer statements now with, “….. Totally aligning myself with Your Principles God & Jesus that I learn from the Bible”.”  

“The Importance of Faith in dealing with Issues, Certainly does not apply to me Only, needless to say… How Often have We heard from So Many who have gone through some Seriously Difficult & Tough/Rock Bottom times with e.g. Addictions, Depression, or other, where the Common Denominator for Recovery was Their Faith #1…  How SO TRUE as I Felt It and Lived It myself first hand, especially when matters fall outside Our Control.  As previously mentioned, you may want to Read “Unbroken” (a terrific Overall Book!), or see the “Unbroken” sequel “Unbroken: Path to Redemption”, which addresses an extreme case where Faith ultimately Saved The Life of Louis Zamparini, who suffered, understandably and terribly, with PTSD, and consequently, alcoholism.” 

“Summing up the Total Process of Recovery, or Significant Improvement of Our Positive Thinking Ways for Anyone, and then Flourishing, depends on Amending or Taking Care of Our Heart & Soul (i.e. Our Spirit/Our Faith addressed in section 4), and Our Mind & Body (i.e. the Positivity Process covered in the majority of the Book, with details in sections 5, & 6, along with importance of Eating Well, & Exercise per section 3).  We Need to Learn, to Balance our Lives, Physically, Mentally, and Our Spirit (Our Faith) which collectively defines Our Wellness & Well Being.”

    • Racing heart/chest discomfort

    • Depressed feelings’
    • Fatigue
    • Feelings of helplessness
    • Panic episodes
    • Muscle tension

“People suffering from anxiety disorder often have extreme apprehensions about the following:

“On the flip side, “Depression is a condition that can be defined in various ways; its severity ranges from the “blues” or a “bad mood”, to severe clinical suicidal depression.  Mild to Moderate Depression takes the form of “the blues”, to feeling hopeless.  Clinical Depression impacts people to the extent that they lose interest in the outside world, have pronounced and prolonged behavior changes, and at its worst, causes separation from reality.  “Suicidal” level of depression impacts people to the extent that they see no reason to live and evaluates that everyone would be better off without them. “

Needless to say, no one wants to suffer this way as us sufferers do, and no one ever wants to go there if they have not been there yet!  And when you have the opportunity of bouncing between episodes of Anxiety and Depression, there just cannot be a worse feeling. Take it from one who went thru 25yrs, Worse Case Anxiety & Depression, & OCD (same A&D feelings though/no difference really… just a lot of unreal/negative thoughts going on)…

5)  Regarding negative thinking based conditions, which I strongly feel can be Completely Resolved in Most cases by the Reference Book’s Process, these include: OCD, PTSD, Addictions(Rcovery), ADD, ADHD, BPD, & Bipolar Type 2, although since the Process is all we can do for ourselves as humans, Naturally, then Most Definitely this could Significantly Impact the Lives of those diagnosed as Bipolar Type 1 as well. Descriptions addressing  PTSD, Addiction Recovery conditions reside in the Reference Book… Others indirectly, considering I was diagnosed with A&D & OCD Worse Case for 25 yrs.… and now… no inkling of any of that! …  Below, I provided further descriptions of all these conditions in Layman’s terms for a better understanding of these Issues if interested.

Regardless of the category of these Issues, all the PAINS stem from too much negativity vs. Positivity to begin with & Resultant Impacts mentioned above to our Minds and Bodies… It has to be… There is not another mechanism humans have which could trigger these Issues.  We’re just human! Regarding the various conditions they are labeling People with these days…  this is my understanding of matters regarding these Various labels which we are diagnosed these days as, if Struggle or Suffer:

a) Anxiety and Depression: This has always been the Umbrella Issue/Condition covering most of the present diagnosed mental health Issues and the resultant Feelings/Emotions we have when Suffer due to the negative (thoughts) Impacts on our Brain/Body chemistry impacted, regardless of the sources and triggers of this Pain.

b) OCD: This condition is the direct result of unreal negative thoughts or a barrage of those which we formulate internally, in strange or various ways, as we get caught up in the domino impacts of negative thought progressions. In my case, this condition stemmed from fact I was Intensely Analytical, & Detailed oriented and was a negative thinker by nature, from the get go in Life… I thought I had to Know and figure out Everything Ridiculously! … And the end result of the Pain is again Anxiety/Depression 

c) PTSD: For those who suffer with PTSD… “It is understood this condition occurs in Individuals or Soldiers who have been thru traumatic events, or who have witnessed traumatic events.  But the bottom line reason why some people suffer more, or less, or why some don’t suffer much at all with PTSD, considering like situations, is due to Individual specific negative thinking ways, which exasperates the condition when excessive.” So those who are not negative thinkers will not develop the condition, whereas those who Suffer are the negative thinkers… And the end result of the Pain is again Anxiety/Depression

d) Bipolar: In years past there was no diagnosis for “Bipolar Type 2” from what I understand, where the “Pros” with such a diagnosis just seem to have another reason to prescribe Medication, and in this case, “Medication for Life”… That is my Complete take on that! Yep, for the $s inevitably!  It is the Education system that is letting the Pros deal with matters as such, since they don’t know any better as addressed earlier in this Guide. Well my Son was diagnosed as such… He actually locked into both aspects of what I wrote… NO Meds and Doing Beautifully :)!… What Bipolar Type 2 is in my Complete Understanding, they just have Higher levels of Anxiety and Depression in effect than maybe the average A&D Sufferer… As for Bipolar Type 1, that is even a more Extreme Level of Highs and Lows, and in the past was identified as a Manic-Depressive Condition!  The past & present Solution does include Meds for Life I do understand.  But considering this Process to Improve is for Anyone and All We Can Do as humans Naturally, it is a given it can definitely only Help a Bipolar 1 Sufferer, but maybe or likely not to the extent of eliminating all the meds for Life?  This is how Lucinda, the Lady I Learned from, Lost her husband… He was Manic-Depressive, in a Bad place, refused medication and ended his life :(…!

e) Addiction(Recovery): This is a result of People who are addictive by nature, and in order to curb the Impacts of Anxiety & Depression, due to excessive negative thinking going on, they attempt to deal with those Pains via their Drug or Alcohol abuse & addictions… As I say in the Ref. Book, it is Highly Recommended they get themselves in a 12 step program or related to kick their addictions initially… Furthermore as addressed: “As we walk the fence of Life which is getting pretty thin these days, if we struggle with Anxiety and Depression, and hence with negative thinking ways, we either fall off the side of the fence dealing with significant levels of Anxiety & Depression, minus addictions (as I did for 25 years), or we fall off on the other side of the fence, with addictions in attempts to deal with the pain.  So again, it is a negativity vs. Positivity game, combined with One’s Faith, when dealing with these matters as Best as an individual can.”

f) BPD: Borderline Personality Disorder ? Please… As wacked as I felt when I was Suffering Significantly, a Worse Caser, for 25yrs A&D & OCD, if a doctor told me, I had a Borderline Personality Disorder… Heck I would have Definitely Believed that… & Hence, who knows, maybe likely I would have been tagged with that as well this day and age… It’s Crazy how many different labels /conditions People are being diagnosed and tagged with… I tell ya it is just about coming up with another condition which they say needs medication again … RRRRR … Easy to Hate the antics of the MH Professionals! RRRRRR… Frustrating and Appalling!

g) ADD/ADHD: I put them in the same category really… With ADHD being likely a more appreciable condition of the same really, with no hardline differences vs. ADD… Simply put you all are relatively Smart & have a lot on the mind and you have a difficult time to Focus those thoughts and energy Properly, being fidgety etc.… The Process of Positivity vs. negativity provides a Complete Process to condition the Sufferer via the process of Loving Ourselves Unconditionally including tuning into Breathing & Muscle Tension/Relaxation & Meditation media to calm down the mind and body… We learn to Underreact to Everything… Tell me this would not be part of the Process to Improve for them :)… This Conditioning is Imperative to be able to tune into our inner thoughts… & is a pre-cursor to Patience… Big part of it for All really… Then dealing with Panic from the get go as well, & then Learning how to whittle down to our negative thoughts & sources of those thoughts, which is the basis of our Bad Feelings, Emotions, and over time these Issues…Heard Psychotherapy is what is used to resolve ADHD Issues along with the Meds, of course… shockingly :)… NOT!!  Of course really this New way of saying things, & associated Professions, lines up closest to what I have per the Book’s Positivity Tools Skills Process.  The Key Difference though, the way the MH Community handles Mental Health for Individuals, is that they make the general population feel like each and every person is unique requiring special care and handling… So Wrong based on what I Learned! … We Are All Just human here, and it is the same Game for Everyone… as we drill down to Our negative thoughts and sources of those, that Self-Personalizes it for Everyone!”

That Sums Up Matters for Education purposes for Parents & their Sons & Daughters as needed.

Morning Personalized Meditation/Calibration Routine, & Daily Self-Talk; Merging Positivity (Process) Self-Talk & Prayer Statements (updated 4/13/25)

Below includes a combination of the Breathing Muscle Tension & Relaxation control Necessary for conditioning an individual in preparation for & while working the Positivity Tools/Skills Process, along with additional Prayers we can say to ourselves (don’t ever forget about the Power of Prayer in our lives…).  Besides also included additional combination of Positivity & Prayer statements or self-talk actually, which can definitely Help whenever, but Especially if/when dealing with Depression, or for Matters outside our control…

But need to bring up something I went thru recently, May 3/24 to October 1/24, which made me realize something that has been subtly haunting to me, as I realize Now I was Overburdening myself in the Process in order to feel like I was Good Enough in the Eyes of God day to day actually… Hence, Now, post 1, October /24, I  start off each day, & pick & Choose how I wish to Pray & maybe do parts of the  full blown Morning Meditation/Calibration Session I would often do daily prior to May 3/24 because, again, to be Honest, I thought I Needed to do this to feel like I was Good Enough in the Eyes of God on a daily basis Little did I know at that time, I was Overburdening myself based in part on my past upbringing… born & raised Catholic etc… Interestingly, I initially wrote about this in Blog Post https://riseandshineanxietydepression.net/2024/09/19  which started off as an out of the Blue PAINFUL trials & tribulations 5 month phase of Deep Depression I went through, between May 3/24 – October 1/24!  As I wrote in the Blog Post.  I won’t explain about that here but the noted blog post addresses more details & This was the emphasis of why I Needed to publish the “5th/Final Touch Edition” of the Main Book written with the Majority of Changes made are included in section 4.1 (Spirituality) section of the Book… Certainly did not plan doing 5 publications but, Yeah had a lot of weeds that had to be pulled out needless to say… 

YES, when Learning/Working the Positivity Tools/Skills Process along with Learning/Providing Faith Formation/ FAITH Growth, you/we will find that Balance in what we have LEARNED, so we will then Feel Secure & Comfortable Living in this Imperfect world, along with Knowing we are Good in the Eyes of God… That Is Living Life with Joy & at PEACE which is Everyone’s Goal in Life.

Regardless of fact I was Overburdening myself, I see/feel, Beautiful Prayers materialized… These Prayer & Positivity statements we say to ourselves can Certainly HELP, Especially when we may be hurting some or lots … Besides, Remember, no matter if we are Stressed or Not or Doing Good/Feeling Chipper, Don’t Let YOUR SPIRITUAL GUARD DOWN! …This supports Daily Refreshers we likely will want to do in our own personalized way keeping us Aligned.

& Here We Go as I used to wake up………..

” I Live my Life Through You God & Jesus, Because of You God & Jesus, & have FAITH & TRUST (in God & Jesus & myself), aligning myself with your Principles God & Jesus that I Learn from the Bible… Meaning… Total Belief & Trust in you God & Jesus, from the bottom of my Heart thru every fiber of my whole being, Foremost & Whole fully, aligning myself with your Principles, God & Jesus I Learn from the Bible… & Meaning having Total Belief  & Trust in you God, Jesus, the Holy Spirit & the Bible, with the Holy Spirit being the Principles of God & Jesus embedded & engrained within me, as It manifests Itself in different ways for different People, allowing me to Reach Out providing a Helping Hand for Those dealing with evil based or negative thinking based Issues, addressing the Importance of Connecting in Life Through You God & Jesus, & Because of God & Jesus, & allowing Faith to Grow (As Positivity Process does provide an Enhancement of Faith & a Stepping Stone to Greater Faith actually :))

I have Total Gratitude, Graciousness, Glee,  & Joy, & Thankfulness, & Gratefulness for You God & Jesus for Everything… For You God Are Our Supreme Being, The Maker/Creator of All Things, Everything!.. All the Immaculate Things… All the Heavens & the God of Light, as You shown your Light & Presence upon humanity for the first time… Upon Adam & Eve as Our sinful ways & nature was revealed, as we paid dearly for Our Sins with Selfishness, Knowing the Only way to Total Self-Acceptance, Self-Forgetfulness, & Self-Worth is Through You God & Jesus, Because of You God & Jesus & Have Faith & Trust!… & I Pray for my Self-Acceptance to be Ditto your Acceptance of me no matter how much I do or how little I do per the works I put forth, but predicated Solely based on Living My Life On the Righteous Side of the fence with you, Striving for perfection & doing the Best I can with what I have to work with, but Knowing to be human is to err as we are sinful nature people & sinners & hence I Plead for Your Forgiveness, & Your Cleansing at all times, & Please provide me the strength & courage & Help me squelch any evil based negative thinking from trickling down to my Actions, in what I say or do which would defile me… AMEN!…..& You shown your Light & Presence on Abraham, Isaac, & Jacob, Promising them the Land of Milk & Honey, the Land of Israel…  & You who shown your Light & Presence, & Strength & Courage upon Moses, allowing him to lead your People out of  the grips, perils, & Slavery within Egypt, back to the Promised Land, as he led the People out  across the Red Sea, & at the Jordan River, he handed over the reigns to Joshua, as God did as well, as he Committed a  Sin against God’s Direct Command as he struck the rock twice in succession in the desert to allow for the flow of water for the people, with Anger & Frustration towards them for their disobedience, as opposed to commanding the flow of water (Assertively) with his tongue, but with Love & Forgiveness in his message towards the people (which the Bible ultimately IDs to our Goals being Christians )… & You Knowing Our Stubborn Selves, Our Sinful Ways, & Our Sinful nature, You Provided to us Your Son, Jesus Christ Our Savior, Born as One from One, Born of the human flesh, & Born of the Virgin Mary to reflect Your Unending, Unfailing, Unconditional Love & Forgiveness, as He Brought Us Your Word in the Words He Spoke, & As He Preached, & As written in the Bible based on the accounts of Your Apostles & Disciples… & He who was betrayed by Judas Iscariot who sold his soul to the devil for 30 pieces of silver and later hung himself… & He who was Humiliated & Suffered, Nailed to the Cross providing the Ultimate Sacrifice for the Forgiveness of Sins of All Mankind.  As He spoke his Last Words … “God Why Have You Forsaken Me”… & took His Last Breath, & Died  at 3:00 o’clock on that Friday, prior to His Resurrection… As the Skies Grew Darker from 12 to 3, the Earth Shook, & the curtains within the Sanctuary within the Jewish Temple tore from top to bottom signifying he IS the Son Of God!… & He was buried in a new tomb by Joseph… Amen, Amen, Amen, & on the Third Day He Rose According to the Scriptures… He Ascended into Heaven and was Seated at the Right Hand of God… & He will come in Glory & Judge the Living & the dead, & His Kingdom will have no end … Amen! (as I do the Sign of the Cross...). 

Thank You Again God & Jesus for Everything, Knowing without you God there is Nothing, & Knowing without You Jesus we would not be SAVED…& for you bring us Great Joy, as nothing can separate me & your Believers from Your Loving Presence !… Thank You for the Universe & the Ecologically Perfect World we were born into, surrounding us with the elements & resources for our Needs… Our Needs for Food, Clothing, & Shelter… Allowing us to Open Up Our Eyes, Ears, Nose to the Sights, Sounds, & Smells of the Beauties of  Nature, & All that surrounds Us & That which was Provided to us… All of God’s Creations… the Plants, Trees, Bushes, Animals, Wild Life :)… The Beauties of  Planet Earth…  & Allowing us to Live & Breathe in your Air of Life… the Air of Life you provided for All Living  & breathing things, beings, & organisms, Ourselves… the Animals, the Wildlife, & the Plants, Trees, Bushes, allowing us to reproduce & resupply our Air Supply Needs between Us, the Animals, Wildlife, & the Plants, Trees, Bushes… As we get plenty of Air from breathing, the involuntary response my Body has gone thru 134,000,000 times and counting ( I still include this last part mentioned, in my Self-Talk, since it was a previous  hang up I had as I mentioned in the Book, when I was Struggling so, & the count is an approx. thru 67 yrs in Life :))… And allowing us to open up our eyes, ears, nose to the Sights, Sounds, & Smells of the Beauty of Nature which Surrounds us, & allowing us to Witness, & Experience the Beauty of the Earth, Sun, Air, Water melding with All Living & Breathings Things, Beings, Ourselves, & all the plants, trees, bushes which provides for the plushness of the lands forming Masterpieces we get to Enjoy & Appreciate, showing Gratitude, Graciousness, Glee, & Joy for All which was Provided to Us & Who GOD/JESUS are…:). I do the inhale  for that count of 2, while saying to myself, I am Safe, I am Comfortable, & then exhale for a count of 4 consistent with what Learn from the Intended Relaxation Media/Session Post: https://riseandshineanxietydepression.net/2020/08/23 ), & then start  with the Positivity Self-Talk following the exhale while breathing normally: I am Safe, & Comfortable  … I am Calm, Peaceful,  Relaxed… Nothing Else Matters, This is my time that I have with You God & Jesus to Prepare myself for the things I Like to do, which greatly includes the things You want me to do… to reach out and provide a Helping Hand for those Struggling with negative thinking based Conditions, addressing the Importance of connecting in Life thru You God & Jesus, Because of You God & Jesus, & allowing Faith to Grow with age.

Muscle tension and relaxation exercise

I Love myself Unconditionally,  & I Love Life with a Passion… I Feel Good about myself, & I Feel Good about the World (… the Beauty of Planet Earth…),  & Those around, for Everyone has a Piece of the Lord God/Jesus within them :)… I Radiate Positive Energy, Good Feelings, & Treat myself with Compassion & TLC (as I give my wrist a well deserved kiss :))……Treat myself how I would towards my Family & Friends… God Bless & I Pray for Everyone… & God Help those for Those who are in Need… I Pray for Everyone’s Spiritual, Emotional, & Physical Well-Being… [ At this time I often cycle thru & Pray for People in my Life or those I have come across who Suffer/Struggle…&  even those who I may have had conflicts with in the past, since Love without Forgiveness is No Love at all :)… Remember, we have to Love Our Neighbors as well as Ourselves (Everyone essentially), no matter what…]

[& Now proceed thru the Muscle Tension, & Relaxation control Learned along with Additional Positivity Self-Talk & Prayer as also Identified  in the  Intended Relaxation Media/Session Posthttps://riseandshineanxietydepression.net/2020/08/23 )]:

  •  Continue to breathe slowly and methodically… By tensing up and then relaxing the different segments of your body as identified below,  this will relax your muscles throughout your body.   While working each body segment as noted,  do controlled breathing along the way and when Inhale just before doing each or some of these body parts routines (whatever is most comfortable…),  say/think... “I am Safe… I am Comfortable…”, and of course thereafter Exhale thru the mouth always as addressed above, while tensing up those body parts from toes  to Head for the count of 2 & continue breathing as desired what brings comfort…..

— Start with Toes/Feet/ankles:  Curl your toes down stressing your feet (arches)  for about a count of 2 (1001, 1002)…  then Pull toes up toward your head with legs straight, tensing your feet and ankles for about a count of 2 (1001, 1002)… then release the tension and then think/say Release of tension in my ankles and feet, followed by  “I have a Positive warm and soothing energy flowing through my toes, feet and ankleswhile flexing and moving toes, feet and ankles.

— Move up to your Lower legs: Tense up lower legs up through your knees for about a count of 2 (1001, 1002)… then think/say “Pressure tension up through my knees”…  then release the tension and then think/sayRelax –release of pressure in my lower legs and up through my knees” .

— Move up to your Upper legs:  Tense up your Upper legs up through to your buttocks and to lower back for about a count of 2 (1001, 1002) …  then think/sayPressure tension up thru to my lower spine… then release the tension and think/say “Relax– release of pressure in my upper legs, up thru to my lower spine”.

— Move up to your upper torso:   Tense up your body from your buttocks, through lower spine,  through stomach and abdomen, up your spine to your upper torso/upper back for about a count of 2 (1001, 1002), with your arms positioned against you chest, & R and L hands held together with fingers intertwined, then say/thinkPressure tension up thru my lower spine to my upper back”… then release the tension and think/say “Relax –release of tension up thru my upper back“.

— Move to your hands:  Tense up your hands extending and spreading your fingers for that count of 2 (ditto above), then Tense your hands making fists for a count of 2 (1001, 1002), and then say/think “Pressure tension in my fingers and hands“… then release the tension in your hands saying/thinking: “Relax — I have a Positive warm and soothing energy flowing through my wrists, fingers and hands” while flexing your finger, hands, and wrists. (FYI … Personally I say at this time… I so Believe and Trust in you God/Jesus (as a Christian), from the bottom of my heart, through every fiber in my whole being, foremost and wholeheartedly… Aligning myself with Your Principles, God & Jesus :)…then I proceed :)

— Move up to your arms:  With your arms straight alongside you, tense up your  arms for that count of 2 (1001, 1002), saying/thinking, “Pressure tension up through my arms“… then release the tension in your arms saying/thinking, “Relax –release of pressure in my arms” while shaking your arms loosely. 

— Move up to your upper back/shoulder:  Bring arms up against your chest with hands clenched and arms bent up and positioned touching /close to your shoulders, and tense up your upper back and arms, hands, shoulders pulling your shoulders back for that count of 2 (1001, 1002), and then say/think, “Pressure tension up through my shoulders“… then release the tension and then say/think: “Relax –release of pressure in my upper back, my upper arms and up through my shoulders“. 

— Move up to the neck area: NOTE: This is a 4 step neck motion tension/relaxation exercise vs. what is provided in the Intended Relaxation media… Avoid rotating your head/neck clockwise or counterclockwise thru a full circle which may be interpreted from what said in the media… from what I have learned, this is not good for your neck)… Besides, I feel this is a much more effective approach than what addressed in the media for the neck area!  

Pull your head back from neutral position and tense up neck for a count of 2 (1001, 1002), then saying/thinking, “Pressure and tension in my neck”… then release the pressure and then say/think, “Relax –release of pressure through my neck and shoulders” . 

Pull your head forward and tense up neck for that count of 2 (1001, 1002),  then say/think, “Pressure tension in my neck”… then release the pressure and then say/think “Relax –release of pressure through my neck” .

Neutralize head/neck… then:

Move head toward one shoulder while pulling shoulder up toward head, and tense up  (doing a minor crunch between head, neck, & shoulder actually), for that count of 2 (1001, 1002), then say/think, “Pressure tension in my neck and shoulder”… then release the pressure and then say/think, “Relax –release of pressure in my neck and shoulder”.

— Move head toward other shoulder while pulling shoulder up toward head, and tense up (doing a minor crunch between head, neck, & shoulder actually), for that count of 2 (1001, 1002),  then say/think, “Pressure tension in my neck and shoulder”… then release the pressure and then say/think, “Relax –release of pressure in my neck and shoulder

– Move up to the jaw area:  With mouth slightly opened/agate tense up and hold maintaining pressure in your upper and lower jaw clenching your face for that count of 2 (1001, 1002), then say/think “Pressure tension in my face/jaw up to the top of my head”… then release pressure saying/thinking “Relax, I have a Positive warm soothing energy flowing through my whole body, through my neck, and into my jaw”. … When you do this jaw area tension/relaxation properly, don’t worry about looking good in the process… & you won’t if you do it Right :)!

I follow this up with additional Positive Self Talk/Self Thoughts “Clear my mind of all thoughts… Let my thoughts drift in and out… My body is immersed in a Positive Warm, Soothing, Soft and Glowing Light… I imagine reaching up and turning on that Glowing Light… & then reaching up Imagining that Light warming both hands … & I say, Sunshine, Breezes, Beauty Everywhere & Most Importantly, The God of Light :). 

Then Finalizing the Relaxation Session, I provide additional Self-Talk/Thoughts… I Appreciate Life, I Love Life, I am So Glad to be Alive… I radiate Positive Energy &Good Feelings...I Enjoy the People & Company of Others, & they Enjoy the Company of me :)… Picture myself Living in the Present Moment, make the Most of my Moments, & Enjoy the Special Moments with Child-Like Exuberance and Enthusiasm, Through You God & Jesus, because of You God & Jesus, & Have FAITH!… Thinking Positive thoughts Always, doing things I Like to do, which includes the Things You want me to do… I’m Full Of Life, I Love Life, I am So Glad to be Alive….  I Feel Fulfilled & Content with Peace of Mind & a Calm Body…… LIFE IS GOOD :)!

I Know when I Feel & Believe This way towards You God & Jesus, which I Know is the Only way I could Ever, Ever, Ever Feel & Believe toward You God & Jesus, then I Know I Need not have to Fear Life on Earth, & I Know if I were not to Feel & Believe in  you This Way, then the Impacts on me would be quite the opposite, where I would have all the Fears in the world (as I have in the past), & I wouldn’t Know why???

I have Total Faith & Trust in You God & Jesus, & hence have Total Faith & Trust in myself, for you are in me, within me , thru me. As far as Daily Positivity/Prayer Self-Talk I provide to myself during some quiescent times during the day, or while e.g. taking  a walk in Nature I typically gyrate thru the (4) Positivity/Prayer Self-Talk included in section 4.4 in the “Rise and Shine Anxiety & Depression & Life Management Tools”, & section 1.2 of the “Rise and Shine Parents Self-Help Guide for the Youngins” as follows with (2) Additional ones I Say to myself (The 1st 2 Self-Help Statements below):

  • I Praise You God & Jesus from the Bottom of my Heart, through every fiber of my Whole Being, Foremost, & Whole fully, Aligning myself with Your Principles, God & Jesus I Learn from the Bible… & Thankyou God for Everything, for you are Our Supreme Being, & Maker/Creator of Everything… Without You there would be nothing… & Thank You Jesus… Without You we were not be here, nor would we’d be Saved!
  • The way I need to approach God & Heaven is with the Mind of a Child, Showing Gratitude, Graciousness, Glee, & Joy for All You have Provided and Who you are… For you are Our Supreme Being Maker & Creator of Everything. & Without You there would be Nothing.
  • Look for the Good, the Pluses, and the Positives in anything, everything, anybody, everybody, anytime and all the time Through You God and Jesus, Because of You God and Jesus (& Have Faith & Trust!). This does not mean you need to always see the Good, but just keep on looking for it … and again Have Faith & Trust:)! 
  • Feel the Excitement, Energy, and Enthusiasm of Life with Child Like Exuberance and Enthusiasm, Through You God and Jesus, Because of You God and Jesus (& Have Faith & Trust!).
  • Live in the Present moment, make the most of the moments and enjoy the Special Moments with Child-Like Exuberance and Enthusiasm, Through You God and Jesus, Because of You God and Jesus (& Have Faith & Trust!).
  • Positives, Positives, Positives — Emanate Positive Energy and Good Feelings no matter what, and no matter how I feel within reason,  if I can, when I can, the Best I can, Through You God and Jesus, Because of You God and Jesus (& Have Faith & Trust!).

Additionally, when I Exercise, Swimming in a Pool for about 25 minutes, or when I am out for a Hike, I Typically or Often Get into a Positivity Self-Talk/Prayer Session, including lots of  what is provided in Section 6.17 of the Main/Ref. Book… “Daily Self Talk/Positive Affirmations you want to incorporate.”  I don’t identify the Details of what I actually Say, but I think you Understand by now reading above, the Importance of Merging Positivity Self-Talk with Prayer…

Below is the Comment I provided in light of the 1 Star Review I received per my Book, “Rise and Shine Anxiety & Depression & Life Management Tools”… Please understand, it is Something I had to do considering the illegitimate Nature of the Review when looking into the Reviewer profile which I captured in the post included below; Tactfully though I did not provide such details in the Comment itself for understandable reason, as I did not want to stoop to that level directly, but yet, I am only human :)… https://riseandshineanxietydepression.net/2020/03/10The Comment I provided I likewise share in the Introduction 1. of the Book’s The 4th/Final Edition–“The Final Cut”.

“Very Sorry You feel this way… As I stated in the Book’s section 1.8 f): “As far as Capitalization of words, or not, no need to give this too much thought really. Maybe if I did not capitalize the word God, then that would be a problem.  Otherwise, no ill intent.   I just weighted them based on the relative importance it felt at the time when writing.  Besides, this approach provides a Feel for what is being said as does the occasional :) I add, versus just having standard lower case words for the most part without a :); in my opinion, that would Just Not Do It :). I know it is unorthodox and is inconsistent at times and, therefore, sorry to some. But if you are feeling too critical of this, then maybe that might be telling you something. Some things in Life we just want to lighten up on and underreact to . . . so just let them go . . ., Life Is Too Good ! :).” 

You could call this writing style driven by my Passion & Certainty of the subject matter, and up front, in the preface and early introductory text, more of the Book’s Key Buzz Words are addressed which deserve emphasis. If you had gone through like 25 years of a Worst Case Anxiety/Depression condition, with (4) stays in Psych wards, and pulled the plug on Yourself Twice, and then feel as Good or as Great as Anyone Could, Yeah, You Also would Feel Excited and Emotional about this as well… I Assure you!

And no, as the quoted Book text above indicates, not “Every other Word is capitalized” in the Book :). The Book is all about Content Integrity to Truly Help People, and was not intended to be a literary masterpiece. I would think People would go take a “Look Inside” before purchasing any Book where they could all judge for themselves, before deciding to get or not, especially for those who are critical as such; the Amazon Book site is written in the same way… Really too bad, since a Huge amount can be learned from this True Self-Help Book dealing with matters. Sorry All, but, can’t please Everyone…”

FYI, the 3/3/20 Reviewer who happens to be an English Literature Major Graduate, provided his Tactful Comment in my support (of course :)), quoting the fact he has an English Lit major, adding more viability to the Comments & Less to the review… Yes it was an Excellent Comment which was never captured completely though, other than also stating the Book Is/Was “amazing”, & of course elaborating in his Review :)!

The Basis of the (2) True Self-Help Books written… “Rise and Shine Anxiety & Depression & Life Management Tools” & “Rise and Shine Parents Self-Help Guide for the Youngins”, involve Bridging the Only Psychology we need to know (i.e. How Best To Change negativity to Positivity, besides Exercise/Eating Well/ :)s & laughs), together with Our Faith/Our Foundation, & Our # 1 Dependence (God)! This Combination is All we can do for Ourselves as humans, Naturally, which provides Permanent Results! As far as the Repetitive Training Based Optimum/Proven & Complete Positivity Tools/Skills Process, that Changes the way One Thinks, Operates, & Reacts, or Underreacts to Everything, which It amounts to… This is Imperative to maintain that Positive mindset...

Book’s Process encompass Spiritual & Emotional Awakening/Enhancement Training Suggestions based on Repetitive Training  principles.  Actually when I stack things up in Life considering all I have gone thru as a Worse Caser dealing with Anxiety/Depression & OCD by yesterdays standards for 25 years, Spiritual needs involve at least 1/2 the Game in Life if consider Life a Game as I address in the Books… Emotional needs amount to about 35% of the Game if Know How to do that RIGHT for Life, & our Physical Well-being stacks up to about 15% of the Game of Life… As All mature/age & go thru some dire straight times in Life, most if not All, who have gone thru Serious Issues likely Feel the same! Funny though how we typically are… we initially work on our Physical Well-being … exercising, eating well… then we work on our Emotional Well-being if know what to look for with all the convoluted/nebulous information floating around out there (!), & then when have Serious Matters which occur we realize the Importance of Locking into FAITH, especially when matters fall outside our control (i.e. Our Own Thoughts & Actions).

I am moving forward to the Main intent of what this Blog Post is all about … i.e. what to do with Book in hand, Expectations of Working this, & a few Cheerleading tips along the way… Additional Background information is provided below item 1) thru…. , under my Adios Amigos, to address more if/as interested…

Here are Suggested Steps in Process of Reading & Working on Yourselves or if you are a Parent and desire to Guide your Sons/Daughters thru the Process of Improvement in case they Suffer/Struggle:

1) Get the  Book “Rise and Shine Anxiety & Depression & Life Management Tools” 4th/Final Edition — “The Final Cut” … & if you are a Parent desiring to Guide your Struggling Youngin, obtain the Parents Guide as well.  Go to Home page on this site which addresses the options of obtaining either or both Books… Tune into Note A) regarding either Book & Read the supporting Blog Post; Bottom Line, if Suffer/Struggle it is best to avoid any confusion on the matter & obtain the “Intended Relaxation Media” before getting to section 5 in the Book & Associated All Important Training where we kick off the Process going thru the Relaxation Media up to 3 Xs a day from the get go… If a Parent and you are Guiding your Youngin thru the Process, it is CRUCIAL to obtain the Media; in this case not even a doubt nor question doing otherwise!!! Ref: Note A):

So $ wise, if that is a thought :)… It’s Almost a Joke when putting things in perspective considering, Truly, an absolutely Priceless Education Books provide. vs. dealing with the MH Professional crew from all I have been thru and witnessed.. Being Straight Up, needless to say, during my 25 years dealing with Anxiety/Depression, & OCD as a Worse Caser, I spent, with help from Insurance I fortunately had, likely over $20,000, where the only thing that led me to was the end of the medication lines, ditto, thru 4Xs in psych wards, subsequent Out-Patient care, & related Private sector Professionals with No Viable Natural Approach ever identified to me, nor did any Professional indicate there is a Natural way out of the Serious Issues I was going thru & dealing with!!!… Felt like a lost Soul caught up within that web of negative influence, feeling like I was like a hampster in a cage on those spinning wheels, running like mad, & getting nowhere!!!  In one particular case when my wife at the time (X now) came to visit me in a psych ward, when I was in Very bad shape at the time, this supposed “grey beard” Psychologist who apparently had a Good reputation, was out in the parking lot with my wife at the time, having a cigarette with her & hitting on her as she told me later, as she was appalled by his antics…   Besides he told her, “He has all this A&D/OCD stuff going on, so, you may as well throw away the key because he is not going to get better”…Seriously!… Oh when I asymptotically pulled out the my funk since I had some level of the proper training within me at the time, although, I made serious mistakes in process doing it (as Book explains), I Reported him… Another reason I trust the MH Pro so :)… Sarcastic of course… So, yeah, for both E-Books which would provide all that is necessary for Families MH, that would be $7.00 out of pocket expense :)… Again, Almost a Joke considering the Huge extent of the Education & Experience wrapped up into these… Besides how Powerful the Book’s Total Process has proven to be, with Book in hand as I address in full in Blog Post: https://riseandshineanxietydepression.net/2020/03/10 (also provided in all Book site’s Overview as well … As far as the Experience level… 40+ years per my Experiences… The Lady I learned from, like 20-30 years at the time… Who she Learned from… So, Yeah, the “Intended Relaxation Media” that would be an additional $22 or $25 (digital, or CD)… So $32 by comparison with all one’s Needs with the E-Books, or if desire the Paperbacks, $33 for the (2) Books… or, $55 – $58 for all MH Needs for Any & ALL, by Comparison :)……!   

2) Consistent with the suggestion in section 4 of Book, for Spiritual Formation/Growth, if Christian, or if not sure of your Faith etc.,  suggest to get a Bible, & get one of Sarah Young’s Daily Devotional Reads … Suggest either “Jesus Calling” or “Jesus Always”. In the 1st paragraph in 4.1,  I address the fact, I don’t discriminate against any Faith or Religion, although I do Know the Bible… Certainly don’t want to push People away from what I say in section 4, as I desire to draw them in and have them tune into what is stated.. Suggest to Read that (1) paragraph which I also share in Blog post: https://riseandshineanxietydepression.net/2020/02/14…If not sure of your Faith, or are Christian, come/stay on board… Sure is doing it for myself, my Son, & per the 9/1/15  & 3/3/20 Reviewers, they were Very Spiritually/Christian based to begin with…

So Yes, I Highly Suggest, in parallel while you are working on Sections 5 & 6 (the Positivity Tools/Skills Process), Work on your Faith!  Just like I addressed to my Son, which is provided and written in section 1.2.1 of the Parents Guide for the Youngins, every day in Process, Open up your Mind, & Heart,… Relinquish your Control (… :)… tough one I know but, Important!!), & Read (1) Chapter a day in the Bible from Matthew & on (thru New Testament), & Read each Daily Devotional where Sarah does a Great job of merging both New & Old Scriptures in each daily devotional, relating with our everyday lives :)… GREAT COMBINATION at first for Sure!!! Later when feeling Better as you definitely Will, NO DOUBTS, if diligently Read/Work on Selves in both Regards/Book’s Aspects), you will not want to stop … Then you can mix in Reading the Old Testament as well as 1.2.1 IDs in the Parents Guide, & also mentioned as well in the Main/1st Book written…

3) Read Rise and Shine Final Cut from beginning thru section 4 up to section 5 like you would any Book. This is consistent with section 1.4 “Recommended Instructions and Training Actions” … per  “Actions“… a)…  & 3rd bulleted text per “Note…” Read Note… 

FYI: There are those Voice Apps you can get ahold of… If desire to use those at all, only turn those Voice Apps on ONLY up to section 5 in the Book during the initial Read, with the exception, turn off the Voice App when READ section 1.4 (the General Instructions)!… Furthermore, in 5 & 6, time to roll up the sleeves, & Read & Go thru the Full Instruction set to Work on Selves if you Struggle or Suffer… I Call this Mandatory as I addressed to the 3/3/20 Reviewer… Now, if Average emotionally, I would say do the same, and to get the most out of this Education, Suggest doing 1/2 the extent of the Training which the Book IDs… Just my suggestion here of course but your prerogative what to do here…  As the 1.4 General Instruction says, & as readdressed in section 7, after reading the whole Book the 1st time thru, READ section 4 again, but considering possible use of Voice Apps, turn off the Voice Apps when doing this final read of this… 

Now, if you are a Parent with the Parents Guide for Youngins in hand, I would say, if you have to do all the Reading for your Youngin, on behalf of your Youngin, then by all means use such Voice Apps if desired… This may Help some… I bring this up in the Parents Guide as well.

4) Sections 5 & 6 include the All Important Repetitive Training Process per the Positivity Tools/Skills Process… Early on in Process, you may desire some up front Coaching or Cheer Leading it would actually amount to, as the Book is Complete! Yes, and as I share in 1 Comment I provided per the 3/3/20 Reviewers review Life Changing!… read the review & the Comment… he Suffered his “whole life with Anxiety, Depression, PTSD, OCD”… I provided such Cheerleading minus the pom poms :) to the Gent up front… Oh I Am the Book & I Am a GOOD+++ Cheerleader :)… Oh &, I don’t charge anything  for that, Zero, Seriously! I get so Excited doing such since I KNOW, if I sense the individual is Diligent about Reading & Working on Selves, which is imperative, taking this Seriously, I KNOW the Tremendous Positive Impacts this will have… & that was the end result with this Gent :)!  I am there to Motivate, and Keep on IDing, Stick to this, This Is the Answer & You Can Do This as I have… This is such a Powerful Impactful Influence this will have… Be Patient, but Keep It Going & you won’t even believe the Impacts this will have :) … Not a Possibility, but a FACT!  Keep on Keeping On :)!

One more Key thing as I bring up in the last Blog post ID’d below in 5.: “The Only matters preventing Sufferers from doing what is Necessary to Take Care of themselves, granted they are Able to (e.g. unless suffering with Brain Trauma or a similar, or have conditions like Schizophrenia, or maybe Bipolar Type 1, if Necessitating meds), is their negative/unreal thinking ways, which initially gets Sufferers in their Holes of Pains/Issues, & subsequently  prevents them from moving forward & doing what they need to do to accept Change, & TRY and Work on themselves…” As for if Bipolar Type 1, considering again that this is All we can do for Ourselves, Naturally, can’t imagine this not Working to a Great Extent… Son was Bipolar Type, Meds for LIfe, but NO MEDS & doing Beautifully!!!

From the time you start working section 5/6, if you are Diligent about Doing the noted Read/Work, within 1 1/2 months, You Will Begin to Feel a Significant Positive Change start to permeate thru you… This duration of time it takes became clear, based on what I Felt when working the Program I Learned from myself years ago, & based on what I witnessed from others with Book in hand only… that last Blog post I share above “…2020/03/10″, addresses some details of this.  By or at this time, you will be Excited & Very Much Self Motivated to continue this Beautiful Ride on your own… At this time and on, you will not need any Cheer Leading of any kind, as You will become your Very Best Cheer Leader & #1 Supporter, besides from What’s Above :)!  It’s a Beautiful Thing & FEEL, unlike anything you can imagine if you Suffer… Amazing How Far We Can Go, Allowing Us To Reach Our Full Potential…! For those who Struggle or Suffer who have the mental maturity to Read & Work on themselves, Emotional Training involves approx. 12 weeks Total Training, per Book’s Optimum Proven Positivity Process addressed in full in the Main Book (“Rise and Shine Anxiety & Depression & Life Management Tools”). If Diligent in Process (to Educate & Work on Selves), you will Begin to Feel Significant Positive Results permeate thru you  after the first 4-6 weeks of working this. This based on the Process’s Make-up & Effectiveness I have Felt  within myself working the Process years ago, & as witnessed for those with Book in hand only; Blog Post ID’d below Explains.  It has become Clear the Effectiveness of the Book is as Good as the Effectiveness of the Program or Likely Better; that’s due to additions made including, addressing the Importance of Our Spiritual Needs which Solidifies Everything!

The Main Book is identified as the Key Ref. Book addressed in the Parents Guide for the Youngins. As clearly addressed within the Parents Guide, if Parents sense their Sons/Daughters are Struggling/Suffering, the Same Process is involved which the Parents will be Guiding them thru, with Necessary Adjustments, since they may have to do most of the Reading for their Youngins, & writing exercises on behalf of them, to show them the way for Improvement… The extent of time for Training has been adjusted, as explained, considering the Parents likely Need to do most of the Reading & writing exercises on behalf of their Youngins, which is less efficient vs. a Sufferer doing the Work themselves… Although, if the Youngins are Interested, they could be like sponges, and it is left up to the Parents discretion to adjust training time during training Process… FYI: I do address the #2 (Highly) Suggested Household/Environment Adjustment, being, in case the Parents are Struggling/Suffering, WORK ON YOURSELVES PLEASE… I KNOW THAT based on first hand Experiences, as I went thru the First 21 years of my Son’s Life, Suffering Significantly… Something you just don’t want to do! Spiritual Formation/Growth Training suggestions below are ditto what addressed in the Main Book… Although, I am being more specific in this Post when to initiate such training & suggestions when to do in a given day based on Personal Experiences…  But this is captured in the Parents Self-Help Guide, per section 1.2.1 as I go in depth about the Importance of Faith/Faith Formation because of its Undeniable Importance… for the Youngins of course, but Definitely for the Parents as well… Spirituality/Faith Formation is brought up as the #1 (Highly) Suggested Household/Environment Adjustment… & Yes, Parents would likely be the Biggest Obstacle to incorporating this within the Household… Allowing Faith to Grow with age Is The Intent thru Life. Once you start doing this, you will not want to stop when sense the Power in this & in the Book’s Combo :)… As already stated, I call Our Faith/Our Foundation & Dependence on Our #1 Dependence (God), at least 1/2 the Game in Life if consider Life a Game.., Let me put it this way, considering what is going on with COVID-19 as ID’d in a recent tweet: “Never seen the disparity between those who have that look of fear/panic going on vs., those who have that look of Calm, as I’ve seen recently with COVID-19 going on. Believers are the Calm…”

Understated Additions/Differences per Book’s Final Cut & All what Learned in Life for The Complete MH Process, vs. what Learned from Lucinda’s Self-Help Program (i.e. the Positivity Tools/Skills Process I Initially Learned)…

I locked into a Tremendous & Proven  1999 Self-Help Program purchased in 2002… Unmatched I Strongly felt, at that time , or thereafter which flat out SAVED MY LIFE! This Positivity Process adheres to Every human being regardless of their Issues for the most part… It is all about how Best to change negativity to Positivity which is a game every one of us tries or plays, but we Don’t Do A good Job at all really & certainly not even close, compared to the Self-Help Program which took 16 yrs in essence for a X-Sufferer as I am now, and her Trusted Pros to formulate.

That Program formed the core of the Positivity Process I wrote of… This Process allowed me to Crack open the negative shell which Consumed me for 25 yrs dealing with Anxiety, Depression, & OCD Issues as a Worse Case Sufferer by yesterday’s standards! By today’s MH standards who knows??  This Process would serve the same purpose for most Sufferers as well… could not imagine not… And Generally this Process teaches us to appropriately Change the way we think, operate (our actions), & how we react, or underreact to everything really… But as Life proceeded, being a Sufferer with DEEP Depression, I realized this Process  encompassing the Positivity Tools/Skills Process, Eating Well, Exercise, & :)s & laughs,  combined stacks up to about or close to Only 1/2  the Game in Life for  our MH Needs…  Since Learning this Process back in 2002, there were lots of Experiences I lived through, including additional down times, where it became Obvious, I Needed  More to Satisfy a Total MH Process to Best Deal with Our Issues… whether matters fall within Our Control (i.e. our thoughts, our actions, & how we react to things), or outside our Control!… Inevitably, All the Experiences, Growth, Maturity, I’ve gone thru, allowed me to share to All This, culminating in the “4th/Final Edition– “The Final Cut”” of the Book written over 7yrs. 4mos.

& Just recently, since I had a Serious Yearning to reach out and HELP a 12 yr old (Child still) Struggling with depression issues, I took another 4 months to publish an Equally Important Book for Our Youth since the Youngins, depending on their age & mental maturity likely would  not have the ability to Read & Work on themselves & would need the Help & Guidance from Parents granted they have the proper road map to work to/with… i.e.  This Guide: “Rise and Shine Parents Self-Help Guide for the Youngins” :).

So here are the Key Additions & Differences which exists within the Main Book & now in the Guide, since they do go hand in hand, being based on the same Principles.  Note that the included blue text is  additional info provided for clarity which extends beyond what is included in the Book:

A) “Rise and Shine Anxiety & Depression & Life Management Tools”, “The Final Cut” includes the following Additions/Differences information identified in a General form in e.g. sections 1., 1.1, 1.5, 1.8, 1.9, & 4 with some pasted below in item C):

1) Something up front I would like to clear up per what I state in section 1.1 & conversely what identified in section 1.9 of the Book when I wrote, up front, per the Original, 6/19/14 Edition of this Book:

    • In section 1.1 I wrote “…Written material alone was not good enough since I was so desperate, anxious, and perplexed, and I was not really in a state of mind to be able to read or comprehend things in my A & D saturated mind.  Of course, I did not have this Book in hand.  But even if I did, as bad as I was feeling, I would likely have fallen into this category 2), and ordered Lucinda’s (Midwest Center’s) program which is consistent with the fact the “Attacking Anxiety and Depression Program” was geared to and was advertised for those most afflicted.” 
    • Although as written in 1.9 ( in C) below): “An Individual’s reading comprehension ability, associated with their struggles with Anxiety and Depression, may be a deciding factor in determining the effectiveness of working this Book vs Lucinda’s (Midwest Center’s) program, although the program has a workbook which needs to be read and worked similarly (?).  Section 1.1, item 1), includes an approach which I believe would support improved reading comprehension  for sufferers, up front, to allow them to initiate the Process via this Book (i.e. to start off with  the Relaxation media,  as instructed in 1.1, from the get go).”

Well, I need to say Now, I take back what I wrote in section 1.1, considering for one thing I did go thru Lucinda’s Program where I did need to Read & Work on myself just like what we need to do when Reading & Working the Book I wrote… No real difference really!  Besides, based on the GROWTH of this Book & the Huge Impacts I’ve witnessed with Book in Hand,  for Worse Case individuals, or close to as bad as I was myself… e.g. the 9/1/15 & 3/3/20 Reviewers, it identifies noted 1.1 text is unwarranted!…  Blog post identified in item 7) below addresses the Effectiveness I’ve seen with Book in Hand… Here are the Links directly to the 3/3/20 Reviewer :“Life Changing!” , & the 9/1/15 Reviewer: “This book literally saved my life.”… You may want to read my Comment to the 3/3/20 Review. as well..

2) The Impacts & Importance of section 4 (Our Faith, Our Foundation, & #1 Dependence for our Well-Being) & the Importance & Power of combining Positivity Self-Talk we Learn to say to Ourselves, along with Prayer statements (ref: section 4.4), make our Self-Talk as Powerful as anything we can say to ourselves, as we allow our Faith to Grow with age!  I address in various areas of the Book,  based on all I have Learned & All I have been thru & Experienced, Our Faith/Our Foundation & #1 Dependence is at least 1/2 the Game in Life if consider Life a Game…  So there is the balance of what it Takes in Life for Life, for a Complete MH Approach!  As stated in section 1.5: “What I always say about Lucinda and what she accomplished, is that she Nailed the process allowing us to Recover from A & D, by converting us to Positive Thinking People in Life; this allows one to have an “easing of the mind and body” and relative Peace of Mind.  Personally, I feel I was able to give those Nails a few taps of assurance per the additions made, and based on the inclusion of the section 4 material, in effect, additional Nails were applied to help Amend, or Reinforce our Foundation/Core necessary to allow us to continue to Build-Up Our Positive Selves in Life and Solidify Matters.”

And as 1.1 ID’s, & as repeated in other areas of the Book: “… section 4 matters (… allowing Our Faith to Grow with age),  just may turn out to be at times, our primary means to appropriately cope with Very Difficult situations whether matters stack up within, or outside of our control.  At times, our Positivity which we can develop extensively via the included Positivity Tools/Skills Process, can only take us so far, until we reach that threshold within us, when we likely need More (i.e. Our Faith…) to Help; help from another human is very much limited.”  … And to HELP Sufferers when matters fall outside our Control… or for DEEP Depression Issues as I Suffered with, or Bipolar 2 (at least) conditions as my Son Suffered with, Our Faith/Our Foundation, & Reliance on Our #1 Dependence is HUGE!!!  I also address within the Preface of the Book & in the Main Book text: ” The Importance of Faith in dealing with Issues, Certainly does not apply to me Only, needless to say… How Often have We heard from So Many who have gone through some Seriously Difficult & Tough/Rock Bottom times with e.g. Addictions, Depression, or other, where the Common Denominator for Recovery was Their Faith #1…  How SO TRUE as I Felt It and Lived It myself first hand, especially when matters fall outside Our Control.  As previously mentioned, you may want to Read “Unbroken” (a terrific Overall Book!), or see the “Unbroken” sequel “Unbroken: Path to Redemption”, which addresses an extreme case where Faith ultimately Saved The Life of Louis Zamparini, who suffered, understandably and terribly, with PTSD, and consequently, alcoholism.”.” 

What I provided in support of the “4th/Final Edition — The Final Cut” in the Preface & repeated in the main text, I address & provided “…another level of definition tying both the Positivity Process, and section 4 (Our Faith … allowing Our Faith to Grow) together, addressing the parallels/commonality between, and the complimentary relation of Both… and when Summed Up, this clearly defines All We Really Can Do to enhance Our Positivity, and Total Wellness & Well Being.”  In support of this there were numerous paragraphs provided on behalf of this, included in the 1. Introduction of the Book & repeated in section 4, &/or 4.X subsections.  These updates were also included in a Blog post as well, entitled: ” Importance of Combining Book’s Optimum Positivity Tools/Skills Process (Only Psychology We Need to Know), with Our Foundation, Our Faith, & #1 Dependence cannot be understated… https://riseandshineanxietydepression.net/2019/09/17/

3) I make it Clear, contrary to what Lucinda provided in her program, this Positivity Tools/Skills Process can Help Anyone really!… She advertised her Program was intended for those specifically suffering with Anxiety & Depression only really…  But considering the total scope of what Learned & written, we just have to be human really with the ability to Read & Work on Selves to Benefit Significantly from this Process…  This Process could Definitely be beneficial for those Emotionally Average, who do struggle at times with negative thinking ways.  If they were to Read this or Work it to some extent, but to a lesser degree of Repetitive Training (e.g. maybe 1/2 the extent vs. a Sufferer’s suggested Training suggestions), or just Read it like any Book, they could shore up their Game Plan in Life to what have in this Book, & their Lives would Inevitably Improve!  Besides, contrary to Lucinda’s Program, this Book also addresses, this Process is not Only for Sufferers with Anxiety & Depression, but is Hugely Helpful for any negative thinking based conditions… As the Book says in the Preface & 1. Introduction:

    • “…. is likewise Important/Solid in dealing with all negative thinking based conditions People suffer from.  These include, PTSD, OCD, ADD, ADHD, Other acronyms (?), and Addictions (Recovery), as long as Bi-Polar or Schizophrenia based conditions are not involved, which necessitates different/unknown (to me) solutions, including the apparent needs for medication for Life (?)…” However, as I also address in the Introduction which follows:
    • “I have been wondering why I am coming across so many cases of people diagnosed with Bi-Polar type II disorder, rather recently only it seems…? … Haven’t really seen much, if any of that in the past!?  But it sure seem as far as Bi-Polar type II vs. those that suffer with Anxiety & Depression, they seem so very close in the relevant symptoms… I often wonder, that maybe in Truth, Bi-Polar II is really Anxiety & Depression, with some bad choices being made, maybe associated with Issues with One’s Foundation…  Since Professionals will never consider One’s Faith/Foundation, as being linked to  any of the conditions they deal with (…Wow..), then it would be easy for them to come up with that Bi-polar type II condition, with maybe the key underlying reason being, that condition is identified as requiring medication for Life…hmmm?!  I’ll leave it at that…” …  Actually, about the time the Book was published, my Son was diagnosed with this Bi-polar Type 2 , medication for Life they said ?!  As realized soon after, he just had to Lock into both aspects of the Book’s Process to Amend his Issues… He locked into the Positivity Tools/Skills Process  years before & did well/good with that for some time as most would do, but ignored my section 4, indicating to me, I don’t get that part of the Book “allow FAITH to Grow with age, & Importance of Our #1 Dependence (God & Jesus since we’d be Christian)… Well, when he finally realized he ought to Try that since he hit a very low point in his Life taking the meds & all, he did open up his Heart & Mind to this, & relinquished Control, reading the Bible (1) Chapter a day from Matthew & on thru New Testament, & a Daily Devotional daily read along with... Within a month he Flew/Catapulted & Dadio couldn’t be any more Pleased :)! He is Doing Beautifully, minus those meds, & I never have to worry about him again regarding his Spiritual/Emotional Strength!  Regarding Issues with Bipolar Type 1, since this Book is Everything we can do for Ourselves Naturally, with Permanent Results, couldn’t imagine this Book not Helping to a Great Extent!.. Actually the suggestions I provided to my Son, I’d provide to Anyone who was not sure of their Faith… These specific suggestions were not provided in the Main Book but were included in section 1.2.1 in the Parent’s Guide for the Youngins… where this information is not only provided on behalf of the Youngins, but Certainly for Parents as well!

4)  I provided mistakes I made in the process of going thru Lucinda’s Self-Help Program, so that no one makes the same mistakes as I did! I address such things as, like a broken record I ID the IMPORTANCE of ya Gots to be Patient in Process of Working this… Don’t go Faster than what the Instruction set IDs as I tried to go thru the Process in Record time causing me to miss some subtle but Very Important things in Process; this made me struggle beyond much more than necessary subsequently for just about 10 yrs before realizing what the Instructions actually said!…  Another matter I bring up a number of times, like a broken record, is the needs to diligently Read & Work on ourselves, & to stick to It, because this Has To Be The Answer to Our Issues… Not that I didn’t do this needless to say, but It’s IMPERATIVE to bring this up for All!… & Remember Don’t let the words “I Can’t” control & dominate your Life, because most of you Can Do This! … “The only time we should use “Can’t” in our vocabulary, is in the Positive Statement, There is Nothing I Can’t Do :)!”

5)  I do address Experiences going thru the Process, where I provide Personal Positive Self-Help Talk in a number of areas to Help Amend Matters/Issues…  I make it Clear, All will desire to adjust & Personalize Positivity Self-talk statements at times so that they would be most fitting to the Individual themselves, & besides it is likely individuals will come up with other ones on their own… Between  Lucinda’s Positivity Self-talk statements, as well as my own provided in the Book, this provides an Excellent starting point in the Process for Anyone!

What I included were  (4) Uplifting/ Positivity Self talk statements which I found Very Important & Beneficial when dealing with Depression aspects in Life…  Additionally, in section 4.4, I provided these (4) Positivity statements and combined them with a common & Deep & Powerful ending Prayer statement which you would Understand that to be, as you allow Your Faith to grow with age…, which is the Main Message in section 4 in Effect.   I came up with these statements, as I wrote, when dealing with DEEP Depression at a time in Life when realized the Process of Positivity alone was not cutting it… I realized I needed MORE… That is when I realized for the First time How Powerful FAITH comes into play in our Lives when dealing with matters that push beyond our breaking point.  I included these Powerful (4) Positivity/Prayer statements in the Blog post addressed per item 8) below.

6) Besides the above noted Experiences, I provide text addressing Experiences going thru 4 Xs in the Psych. wards, subsequent out-patient care, while dealing with numerous MH Professionals, besides, Private Sector MH Pros… Where…  “I felt like a hamster running on those spinning wheels in a cage, going nowhere, really, when I was caught up in that professional web.”Such a Hopeless situation I was caught up in with no hope in sight I felt!!  … I Learned Absolutely NOTHING during those times on How to deal with my Issues Naturally, which I eventually Learned & Wrote of… THANKS GOD!!!!It was All About The Meds where Sufferers feel, maybe the only route we can take when dealing with MH Issues is thru the meds???!!!… So Wrong!!!  Wrote an associated Blog post addressing all this & entitled it : “Numbing=s State of Our Mental Health from what personally Witnessed during Trying Times, & Objective View when took a step Back and Observed; Likely, MH Issues not much different now…” https://riseandshineanxietydepression.net/2019/09/05

7)  Book provides the Positivity Tools/Skills Process I Learned in a amended, “compressed & condensed” format, using my own words for the most part but provided Lucinda’s “quoted” words which I couldn’t match in a few areas  (e.g. regarding Anger towards to others which was not part of my make-up but can be a Key Source of our Issues for Others)… I altered Lucinda’s 15 week program to approx. a 12 week program, with Nothing Amiss at all :)!…  Went over what written Countless times thru the 4 Editions generated, Ensuring Content Integrity, inside and out!…. Take a look at section 1.9 text below which breaks down the differences between Lucinda’s Program which includes a Workbook & Audio to go along with, vs. this Book. But just to let you know based on what I witnessed for those who were willing to put the Read & Work on themselves, for 100% of those, the Impacts witnessed were Not just Good, but Tremendous… “Life Savings”, “Life Changing”…as I also addressed in item 1) above.  In effect, it became Obvious the Effectiveness of the Book was just as Strong & Definitely More Effective in the Long run with the Addition of  section 4 material & related vs. Lucinda’s Program… I wrote a rather elaborate Blog Post on this … “Truth be told (goes without saying…) which  IDs Book/Book’s Process Substance & Effectiveness Known & Witnessed with Book in hand…It All Sums Up :)!…”  https://riseandshineanxietydepression.net/2020/03/10

8)  “Logical undertones” were provided, I call them, which really amounted to an analytical breakdown of Lucinda’s Process & furthermore per the corresponding but Amended Process included in the Book, indicating & identifying how Logically & Factually Based this Process Is, & Hence why So Effective!… Also, in the Book’s 1. Introduction, and as repeated in section 4, I included a complete breakdown of the True “Importance of Combining Book’s Optimum Positivity Tools/Skills Process (Only Psychology We Need to Know), along with Our Foundation, Our Faith, & #1 Dependence which cannot be understated!”… Wrote corresponding blog post on this which was included in the Parents Guide for the Youngins, where copied/pasted these same word per the Main Book text:  https://riseandshineanxietydepression.net/2019/09/17/ 

Positivity Process “logical undertones” were provided  so that I could present the Program in Layman’s terms, addressing, again how Logically & Factually based this Process is and Why it is So Effective! So I bring up such things s the fact the 21 day rule of thumb to form a new habit was used/considered in the Repetitive Training Process needs... & address the Importance of Proven Repetitive Training process associated with the Positivity Tools/Skills Process, Faith Formation, & in the latest publishing… “Rise & Shine Parents Self-Help Guide for the Youngins”, I address its Importance as well as Parents flow-down to their Children as they mature, “Real Life” tidbits & information, to them on a “Consistent & Repeated” basis to Prepare & Ready them as stresses begin to amount,.. & as the Parents continue this, the Youngins will then will be Ready when they leave Moms & Dads to begin their Life’s Journey with a Secure/Independent make-up.

9) Per  1.8 a) as  included in C) below,  meaning of the various formatting provided in the Book is identified.  As written…”The italicized text addresses information that goes beyond what Lucinda’s Attacking Anxiety and Depression program identifies as far as the tools/factors necessary to help our recovery. This includes all of section 4, for the most part as identified, my personalized approach/affirmations, self-talk, or thoughts in light of the subject skills/tools.  But anything that is marginal material is considered a fallout or extrapolation of the information Lucinda provided through sections 2, 3, 5,& 7,  so all credit to her Program and Her Efforts which Saved My Life!  FYI: Pretty much all of section 1.  Introduction/Rationale text, is deserving of italicized format addressing why the Positivity Tools Process, and section 4 matters separately, and combined, are So Important and Effective when Caring for Ourselves. You will find this repeated text, fit for and included in section 4, italicized.”… So Yeah, actual contributions I provided in formulating this Total Process was understated within the Book… No Real Matter because again, Lucinda Saved My Life :)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

10) Something Very Important which was subtle in thought at the time when I Originally wrote the Book is how I broke down the Positivity Tools/Skills Process & Instruction set in terms of section 5 being entitled “BASIC/KEY TOOLS  NEEDED TO COMBAT AND RID ONE OF ANXIETY AND DEPRESSION.”, which culminates in section 5.5 entitled “Converting Negatives to Positives is Paramount and the Key To Success & Recovery.”  … As I now address in the Book’s 1. Introduction: “The Book’s approach is Self-Personalized, as the process appropriately Conditions a Sufferer, allowing them to drill down to their individual negative thoughts (and their mindset in sum) [[in Sum that’d be what section 5 in the Book is All about]]), and sources of their negativity as Best as they can, to unravel and then amend matters Positively.  What can be more personalized than that, especially since, negative thinking is the root cause of most A & D, or related, Issues?!  When properly Conditioned, who knows more than the Sufferer does about their own negativity?… No One!”… Then there is  section 6, entitled: “WHERE DID/DOES ALL THAT NEGATIVITY COME FROM, RESOLVING SOURCES OF OUR NEGATIVITY, AND SPECIAL TOOLS TO AMEND MATTERS.”  … & as I address later address in the Book’s Final Cut, in 1. Introduction:…”What I learned and what that Self-Help program and this Book boils down to, is if you properly deal with the root cause and the lowest level of problems we have with Anxiety & Depression, or related, i.e. our negative thoughts, and the sources of those thoughts, and change that up and our mindsets to be Positive, well that is the Logical if not Factual solution… a solution I did not here of any time when dealing with Professionals (?); these thoughts, control our mind/body chemistry, and hence our feelings resulting in the A & D, or related conditions… 100%!“… So YES, this Process completely allows us to whittle down to our Individual negative thoughts & sources of our negativity, which involves the Root Cause of Our Issues 100%, & then Amending things Positively… POWERFUL Breakdown not identified directly in Lucinda’s Program…  Yeah, much more than “logical undertones” :)…

11)  Intended Relaxation Media which was included as a Youtube link in the Main Book is now unavailable… I mention this up front in all sites the Book, “Rise and Shine Anxiety & Depression & Life Management Tools” Book is provided on as a heads up as I refer to a Blog post to look into for alternate options, or…  e.g. In case the Individual chooses to use an alternate Relaxation Media, in which case Key Details which separates the Intended Relaxation Media from others I am aware of, are Included such that the Individual can make adjustments in Process of using an alternate more appropriately/effectively, up to 3 times a day when kick off this Positivity Tools/Skills Process from the get go as addressed per the Process’s First Step (5.2)… Great care was provided in noted Blog post such that there is even  a possibility an individual could potentially just do the Relaxation Routine on their own considering the Details & Clarity of what provided… But for a Significant Sufferer, I address it would be Best to order the Intended Relaxation Media to eliminate All Confusion!   The Blog post also clarifies & corrects information  contained in the Book which was intended at the time of  the Intended Relaxation Media Youtube availability, words of explanation to maybe help an individual personalize their own Relaxation routine.  Here is the Blog post: https://riseandshineanxietydepression.net/2020/08/23

12) On the minor side of what provided but thought it would be worthwhile to address in Book’s 1. Introduction, & provide in this Blog post as well:

    • “Regarding the Importance of Positivity from other People’s perspectives, the Book “The Secret”, published in 2006, which is understood to be the #1 Motivational/Self-Help Book of all time, selling more than 19,000,000 copies, addresses it’s Importance.  The Secret essentially identifies, in the eyes/thoughts of famous people in the past, the common understanding is that we need to think Positive to Aspire in Life; how True that is!  As Wikipedia addresses about that Book: “It is based on the law of attraction and claims that Positive thinking can create life-changing results such as increased happiness, health, and wealth…… as we think and feel, a corresponding frequency is sent out into the universe which attracts back to us events and circumstances on that same frequency. For example, if you think angry thoughts and feel angry, it is claimed that you will attract back events and circumstances that cause you to feel more anger.” And of course on the flip side, when we exude Positivity, we get Positivity back in return from the Universe.   In a related DVD I saw “What the Bleep Do We Know Anyway”, highly educated People/Scholars discuss Positive thinking and the Positive return phenomena based on quantum physics and the mysteries of the universe, and some still wonder if there is a God;  (? :)); hmmm, so who created or designed our Universe and quantum physics :)?   Anyway, “The Secret” sounds to be a real Good Book, although, from my understanding, it does not address to the reader How To think Positive in Life.  23 years earlier, the Lady I learned from, started her business to determine the Best Approach to Deal with Anxiety and Depression. That Approach which she and her experts developed is, I am Convinced to be, How Best To convert our negative thoughts and mindset to Positive Thoughts and Mindset in Life, considering the way we are, think, and operate as humans.  And again, this is what I funneled into this Book along with a few Key Elements I was able to provide, which I Know can Only Help.”

B) These areas of the Book, in a very indirect way, are a spinoff from what I’ve Learned from Lucinda’s Program, but as I addressed in the Book, again in section 1.8 as it states… “Bottom line, this marginal material is considered a fallout or extrapolation of the information Lucinda provided through sections 2, 3, 5,& 7,  so all credit to her Program and Her Efforts which Saved My Life!” … But yeah, what I provided in the Book in these areas was Understated as far as provided contributions to the Total Process & Considerations… 

1)  Section 5.2 being the First Step  per the Positivity Tools/Skills Process, which is a Very Powerful way to kick-off the Process to Improve & Amend Our Issues,  provides up front Conditioning Needs for those who Struggle. For Great reasons I entitled It: “You need to start Loving Yourself Unconditionally today and thereafter no matter what and no matter how you feel in the process to improve!” & Felt it Very fitting to name this First Step in Process as such :)… So after going thru Lucinda’s Process several times actually, I realized the Best way to kick off this 1st Step Process is to apply the following first 5.2 Action:

“Actions: 

    • Write down all the Positives that you can think about yourself. Every day, during the initial process of improvement/recovery, and/or if you are feeling down, take out that list of Positives and re read it and believe in it.   
    • As you progress through the process, amend or add to this list. …”

2) Additional Content /Sections which goes beyond what Lucinda provided… maybe a mere mention of what provided but decided to Expand on based on the Understood Significance of :

    • Section 6.1, entitled: “Our Environment and How We Were Brought Up During Those Formative Years.”  Actually, I don’t recall any of this being mentioned in the Program I learned from but, I did not want to Ignore such Important Factors in Life! … As partially ID’d only: “Our environment and how we were brought up during those formative years is obviously a huge factor in determining what negatives or Positives we have and what we will be carrying into our lives as adults.” …. Furthermore address… “Negative factors which we go through in our formative years, usually become deeply embedded within our persona and are difficult to shake.  But like everything else that shapes our negative attitudes and ways, turning us into negative thinkers, we certainly can learn new habits or reverse those bad habits of negative thinking to break them up.”… Suggestions to amend related issues not provided here… Sorry…
    • Section 6.9, entitled: “Under-analyze instead of Over-analyzing everything” … Where provide pertinent & important thoughts on such matters… As written & as partially ID’d only …”If you have A and D you are likely a very analytical / detail-oriented type, and a perfectionist.  When we get into an A & D negative mind set we often over analyze anything and everything…. Furthermore… “When you have a situation where you find yourself analyzing/overanalyzing things which you do not need to do, just like every negative we come up with, you need to put up that stop sign and challenge it.   Then hit that mental switch and use the self-talk necessary to tell yourself (e.g. Hey (name), chuckle, you don’t need to analyze how that works...) to under analyze it, or not analyze it at all.  We certainly don’t have to figure out everything, but sometimes we think we need to.” Suggestions to amend related issues not provided here… Sorry…
    • Section 6.10, entitled: “People in our Lives.”  … This is an Expansion from what was subtly & indirectly identified in the Program I learned from.  As written & as partially ID’d only … “Our lives, how we are brought up, what environment we were raised in, what environment we are in now, influence of the media that demonstrates how Life and people should be in a sensationalized/unreal manner, and the confrontations/situations that we have had with people in the past, have resulted in our current attitude toward our fellow man/woman and how we react towards them.  People are for the most part very good natured, but there are those interesting (loaded word) few out there in the world that can leave us with, generally, a sour/tainted taste and attitude towards people in general.  Consequently, this impacts how people think of others and how they think others think of them.” Furthermore … “It is common for people to be concerned about what others think of them for various reasons.  This is especially true with sufferers from Anxiety and Depression.  Sufferers constantly worry about what other people think, going overboard in believing that others are always paying attention to them and that they are constantly being critiqued and evaluated by others.  This feeling is accentuated when this negative/unreal thinking is accompanied by all those body symptoms setting oneself up for potential panic; they become fearful of everyday Living and their interaction with people.” Suggestions to amend related issues not provided here… Sorry…
    • Section 6.14, entitled: “Avoid being Ritualistic/Regimented and Be Flexible and Non-Rigid”… As written & as partially ID’d only… “People often become more Ritualistic/Regimented, and less flexible with age.  Being Ritualistic is also a character quality of those that suffer from Anxiety and Depression.  Reason being is that sufferers from Anxiety and Depression do not like change including changes from their regular daily routine. “… And as Suggested …Other than using the tools/skills identified in this process of recovery, as identified, try to avoid being ritualistic and regimented in what you do in a given day.  This actually caters to more willingness to go with the flow, and not being so impacted when changes in the course of the day to your routine does occur.  This makes it easier to underreact (that magic word) when daily tweaks and changes occur or when you need to adapt to changes in Life.  So, mix up the day, your exercise routine, what you eat, changing when you do what in the course of the day to remain flexible, or maybe do something out of the ordinary every now and then.”
    • Section 6.15, entitled: “Stay Active, and if you can, follow your Dreams & Passion/Purpose.” … As written & as partially ID’d only… “Based on our circumstances and responsibilities we have in our lives (family, children, etc.) we may not be able to follow our dreams in what we do at certain times in our lives.  However, when we have families, to fend for, then that should be Our #1 Passion/Purpose during that time in Life.  Although, if you can work toward a personal Passion/Desire/Goal eventually, this is extremely powerful and Positive. And Yes, this Passion/Desire/Goal likely could turn out to be your Purpose. Finding Purpose in Life, is something I would think we all strive for.” Furthermore…

      “If you have a Passion/Goal which you desire to achieve then generate a written plan to achieve that Goal, but regarding your expectations of achieving your goal, refer to the Tidbit/last paragraph identified in section 5.2.4

      Goal setting is an extremely important tool in Life.  It is crucial to establish a course of action for ourselves whether how far in the future they may be geared to, or if it just happens to be for the next day or week ahead.

      Laziness and boredom and just pondering things just does not serve us well to say the least. Lack of activity can produce very high levels of Anxiety and Depression.  We need to keep our bodies and minds active in our lives….”

Per section 1.1:

“Book, which again, has Additional Key Supplemental Information that can only Help.  Based on what I have learned through the many years of my Life (62 years now), I strongly feel section 4 material is paramount in Solidifying ones Recovery, Well Being, and Peace of Mind which is everyone’s goal in Life.  Besides, section 4 matters (… allowing Our Faith to Grow with age),  just may turn out to be at times, our primary means to appropriately cope with Very Difficult situations whether matters stack up within, or outside of our control.  At times, our Positivity which we can develop extensively via the included Positivity Tools/Skills Process, can only take us so far, until we reach that threshold within us, when we likely need More (i.e. Our Faith…) to Help; help from another human is very much limited.

I included Positive self-talk that I found to be Very Important in my recovery and everyday Living. This included merging Positivity self-talk together with section 4 elements, as addressed in section 4.4, empowering the self-talk statements and Ourselves, as we talk to ourselves :).  Additionally I included those mistakes I made, when I initially jumped into the program… mistakes you do not want to repeat (Believe Me!).  Subsequent to Recovery and Self-Improvement, this Book would satisfy your needs for as required refreshers, which certainly can be very beneficial at times in Life!”

Per section 1.5:

This Book provides a condensed/compressed form of the Attacking Anxiety and Depression program material plus additional material including Section 4, Key elements and Positive Self-Talk which I found to be Very Important in my recovery and everyday Living; this included merging Positivity self-talk together with section 4 elements, as addressed in section 4.4, which may double up the Power in self-talk we provide to ourselves :). The core information per Lucinda’s program is presented in this Book in a slightly different manner, mostly expressed/explained using my own words, but with no sacrifice in its meaning.   And again, I have included those many mistakes I have made in the process to educate one on what they do not want to do.  The additional key elements I provided were, in part, Very Important for me when dealing with matters which tended to pull me down towards the depressive side of the Anxiety and Depression fence.  Regarding section 4 material, I am convinced this is at least half the game in helping solidify recovery from A & D, our Well Being, and our Peace of Mind.  I strongly feel the order and approach/format provided is extremely effective in its approach to Help you (and Help you significantly if you really work it!).

Additional logical undertones have also been added to this Book, which I was able to provide after having the opportunity, based on the mistakes I made, to filter and analyze the information continuously over the course of 10 years. ……….. 

What I always say about Lucinda and what she accomplished, is that she Nailed the process allowing us to Recover from A & D, by converting us to Positive Thinking People in Life; this allows one to have an “easing of the mind and body” and relative Peace of Mind.  Personally, I feel I was able to give those Nails a few taps of assurance per the additions made, and based on the inclusion of the section 4 material, in effect, additional Nails were applied to help Amend, or Reinforce our Foundation/Core necessary to allow us to continue to Build-Up Our Positive Selves in Life and Solidify Matters.”

Per section 1.8 :

a)  The italicized text addresses information that goes beyond what Lucinda’s Attacking Anxiety and Depression program identifies as far as the tools/factors necessary to help our recovery. This includes all of section 4, for the most part as identified, my personalized approach/affirmations, self-talk, or thoughts in light of the subject skills/tools.  But anything that is marginal who did what, well I will never take any credit for it, so all this information will be in plain text.  Bottom line, this marginal material is considered a fallout or extrapolation of the information Lucinda provided through sections 2, 3, 5,& 7,  so all credit to her Program and Her Efforts which Saved My Life!  FYI: Pretty much all of section 1.  Introduction/Rationale text, is deserving of italicized format addressing why the Positivity Tools Process, and section 4 matters separately, and combined, are So Important and Effective when Caring for Ourselves. You will find this repeated text, fit for and included in section 4, italicized.”

Per section 1.9:

“Again, the Core material for recovery from A & D, provided in this Book, is from her program.  I have included additional information that I feel can only help you.  The key differences between this Book and Lucinda’s (Midwest Center’s) program, are the audio media sessions provided in Lucinda’s program.  In summation the audio sessions address:

  • That you are not alone in your struggles with A & D based on examples of all those A & D  issues and symptoms one can have as addressed by the members of her panel (customers who went through her program).
  • Testimonials of the Recovery process and its Effectiveness, from the perspective of these same panel members. ( Blog Post Info for Clarity: Well, me being an X-Worse Case Sufferer, having gone thru those 4Xs in Psych wards, & having tried to end it all twice, was worse off than any of her panel members, including Lucinda herself… So being as such, I was able to not only provide such a Testimonial as well, besides, I was able to add some Invaluable Additions along the way, especially regarding Depression aspects in Life… That is one area I could Certainly shore up on, along with the Huge Influence of tying in the Positivity Tools/Skills Process along with Our Faith which amounts to, as I have realized over time dealing with DEEP Depression, & my Son as he was dealing with Bipolar 2, THAT is at least 1/2 the Game in Life…
  • Lucinda’s introduction and final comments for each session.

An Individual’s reading comprehension ability, associated with their struggles with Anxiety and Depression, may be a deciding factor in determining the effectiveness of working this Book vs Lucinda’s (Midwest Center’s) program, although the program has a workbook which needs to be read and worked similarly (?).  Section 1.1, item 1), includes an approach which I believe would support improved reading comprehension  for sufferers, up front, to allow them to initiate the Process via this Book (i.e. to start off with  the Relaxation media,  as instructed in 1.1, from the get go).  

As far as the understanding you are not alone in your struggles, twitter hashtags, e.g. #Anxiety, #Depression, #PTSD, #OCD, #AddictionRecovery,  certainly do support more than enough of that…  As far as testimonials, well, really, only have a few Amazon reviews really to speak of as of now.  All I could do to satisfy this area somewhat, was to address what I personally witnessed at an apartment complex I lived at which I share in section 1. Introduction/Rationale; i.e. 100% of those I witnessed who received the Book, and who Obviously Read  and Worked It (with Book in hand only), the Positive Impacts were Impressive, and apparently, to the extent of even Life Savings in a couple cases!” 

Per sect. 4:

“Lucinda does briefly touch upon her Spirituality and Her Belief in God in her Program, but purposely, having a business and all, does not address it as being a Key Factor for Recovery from Anxiety and Depression for All, as she does for all the other Tools & Skills addressed in her Program.  She does not directly identify the importance of Spirituality, or related, in her written material (workbook), other than including a few program related letters containing a few “Thanks God”, and an indication to “Pray gratefully” in a daily list of affirmations to make for Good days (ref section 6.16).  However, she does mention Spirituality as being a factor in her Life in her audio series.  She indicates she is Spiritual, and believes in God, indicating at times when things are not going well, she would “let go and let God”.   Besides this, she identifies she reads a Spiritual based Book (mentioned below in section 4.1) that helps lift her Spirits at times.

There appears to be (2)  reasons for Lucinda’s brief coverage of Spiritual matters for recovery etc.,  even though she is Very Sincere when she does talk briefly about these matters. For one thing, the Attacking Anxiety and Depression program indirectly conveys that Spirituality and faith and belief in God alone, likely will not help a significant sufferer recover from A & D.  This certainly is something I personally related to in my Life.  Besides this, Religion/Spirituality is known to be controversial in nature and can cause conflict when discussed in the public eye.  Religion/Spirituality is advertised as being one of the three issues to not discuss in the office or business world, to avoid conflict.  Politics and Money are the other two items that fit this bill.  How I think Politics should be handled is addressed in  section 6.7 , item 5).   As far as Money is concerned, this is discussed in section 4.4.

I am convinced that Our Belief system, Spirituality/Mindfulness, Living Life with inner Child Like Exuberance and Enthusiasm, and maintaining a solid sense of the Basics of Life and the “Big Picture” (encompassing God and All His Creations), is at least half the game in One’s Goal to achieve that True Peace of Mind/Tranquility through Life. Otherwise, I strongly feel, there would be a missing link in our efforts to get There. 


Well that pretty much Sums up this matter… Just something I wanted to eventually provide in one way or another except in the Book itself…
